Bedford Man Indicted On Criminal Threatening, Drug Charges: Court Roundup
Man accused of grabbing Amherst sergeant's gun; Hillsboro felon faces 6 gun charges; Manchester felon accused of hiding crack in his rectum.

MANCHESTER, NH — The following people were indicted recently in Hillsborough County Superior Court North.
Roger Akoury, 58, of Beals Road in Bedford on criminal threatening and two illegal possession of controlled drug, gamma hydroxybutyric acid and methamphetamine, charges, all felonies. He was accused of threatening to use a hammer to break down a bedroom door in Bedford on Nov. 12, 2022. The drug charges were from an incident in Hillsboro on Sept. 21, 2021.
Jeff S. Amyot, 55, of Bear Hill Road in Hillsboro on six pistols & revolvers; convicted felons charges, all felonies. He was accused of possessing a .50 caliber muzzleloader rifle, a Remington Model 700 bolt action rifle, a .223 caliber Harrington & Richards single shot rifle, a Savage .270 caliber bolt action rifle, a Winchester 64A lever action rifle, and a Remington Model 870 12-gauge shotgun on May 2, 2022, in Hillsboro. Amyot is a felon due to a drug conviction in Merrimack County Superior Court in February 2015.

Cassandra Asiaf, 33, of Hanover Street in Manchester on receiving stolen property and two controlled drug act; acts prohibited-crack cocaine charges, all felonies. She was accused of selling the drug to a confidential Manchester Police Department source on Sept. 1, 2021, and April 7, 2022, in Manchester. The stolen property accusation involved a car on Oct. 3, 2022, in Manchester.
Nycole Audet, 41, of Sommerville Street in Manchester on a felony intent to sell a controlled drug — 5 ounces of ADB-Butinaca on Feb. 6, 2021, in Manchester.

Michelle Banks, 53, a homeless woman now located in Manchester, on a falsifying physical evidence charge. She was accused of removing a shopping bag with the proceeds of a robbery at Bunny’s Convenience Store to impair an investigation on Oct. 17, 2022, in Manchester.
Alidu Bashiru, 32, of West Street in Manchester on a felony receiving stolen property charge. He was accused of selling a stolen Cub Cadet Zero-Turn lawn tractor in Bedford on Aug. 8, 2022.
Joshua Bowden, 27, of Dan Kelly Drive in Alton Bay on a felony taking a firearm from a law enforcement officer charge. He was accused of attempting to grab the gun of an Amherst police sergeant on Oct. 7, 2022, breaking the retention of the holster.
Matthew L. Tierney, 38, of Walnut Street in Manchester on pistols & revolvers; convicted felons, controlled drug act; acts prohibited-crack cocaine, and falsifying physical evidence charges, all felonies. He was accused of possessing a knife, the drugs, and concealing the drugs in his rectum to impair an investigation on Oct. 17, 2022, in Manchester. Tierney is a felon due to a previous conviction, according to the indictment.
Merlin Umana, 25, of Boutwell Street in Manchester on reckless conduct and falsifying physical evidence charges, both felonies. He was accused of firing a gun where the bullet went through the ceiling of an occupied apartment in Manchester and removing the gun from the home to impede an investigation on Sept. 23, 2022. Tex Kenny Vega, 36, of Manchester Street in Manchester on possession of fentanyl with intent to sell and possession of crack cocaine charges, both felonies, on June 28, 2022, in Manchester.
