Weather
It looks like another nice weekend weather-wise, according to the National Weather Service. On Friday, expect some morning fog and then highs near 70 in the central and southern part of the state; it will be slightly cooler on the Seacoast. Clouds roll in during the evening and temps drop down into the high 40s. Expect similar weather on Saturday. On Sunday, partly sunny, but temps will be a bit cooler, with highs in the low 50s. Expect similar weather on Monday.

All this weekend
- The New Hampshire Film Festival runs all this weekend.
- “The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood” is being presented by the Community Players of Concord, children’s theatre, Friday, and Saturday. Tickets are $10-$13.
- The Peacock Players present “Peter Pan” at the Janice B. Streeter Theatre, 14 Court St. in Nashua on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, as well as next week. Tickets are $10-$17.
- Caryl Churchill’s “A Number,” runs on Friday and Saturday at the West End Studio Theatre, 959 Islington St. in Portsmouth. Tickets are $18-$20.
- The city of Nashua hosts Art Walk Weekend 2014 on Saturday and Sunday, in conjunction with the Nashua Gate City Fall Festival.

- Exeter Hospital on Alumni Drive hosts its annual employee craft fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- The Grace Episcopal Church, 30 Eastman St. in Concord hosts its monthly community supper at 5 p.m. The month it’s Shepherd’s pie, rosemary rolls, and chocolate pudding. The meal is free but donations for the Take-A-Tote ministry are encouraged.
- Catholic Medical Center is hosting its annual gala event at 6 p.m. at the Manchester Country Club, 180 S. River Road in Bedford. Advanced tickets required.
- Fire and Ice: A Hot Night for A Cool Cause will be held at 6 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza, 2 Somerset Pkwy in Nashua, to raise money for transitional housing for homeless women with children.
- Paint and Sip – African Sunset at The Canvas Roadshow, 176 South River Road in Bedford at 6:30 p.m.
- Gibson’s Bookstore, 45 S. Main St. in Concord, hosts a talk with book publishing sales reps at 7 p.m., talking about new titles and what’s hot in the biz right now.
- “Repeat Performance,” a murder mystery from 1947, will be shown at 7 p.m. at the Sweeney Auditorium, NHTI, 31 College Drive in Concord. Suggested donation: $5.
Saturday
- The NH Patriot Guard Riders will be riding into Salem as part of the grand opening ceremony for the Freedom Traveling Wall. The festivities start at 9 a.m.
- The St. James Harvest Fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the St. James United Methodist Church, 646 D.W.
- The Richie McFarland Children’s Center celebrates 10 years of touch-a-truck events at 10 a.m. at the Pease International Tradeport, Pease Blvd in Portsmouth. Tickers are $5; $20 per family, max.
- Nashua Gate City Fall Festival runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Downtown Nashua.
- The St. James United Methodist Church, 646 D.W. Highway in Merrimack hosts its annual harvest fair. Enjoy crafts, baked goods, and other fun stuff. A pork roast dinner follows at 5 p.m. Tickets are $6-$10.
- The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in Exeter starts at 9:30 a.m. at the Lincoln Street School, 25 Lincoln St. in Exeter.
- The We Believe in Recovery Rally will be held at the Statehouse plaza in Concord at 11 a.m.
- Bordeleau Keyboard Studios presents 8-year-old pianist Benjamin Kim of Bedford and Hong Kong in a recital at 1 p.m. at the Bedford Public Library, 3 Meetinghouse Road in Bedford.
- North Salem Harvest Fest 2014 will be held from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at the North Salem Elementary School, 140 Zion Hill Road in Salem.
- It’s Dr. Who Day at the Portsmouth Library at 4 p.m.
- The Arlington St. United Methodist Church, 63 Arlington St. in Nashua hosts a corned beef and cabbage public supper at 4:30 p.m. Tickets are $6-$11.
- The North Salem United Methodist Church, 389 North Main St. in Salem hosts an Italian dinner at 5 p.m. Tickets are $2-$7. Takeout is also available.
- A Costume Extravaganza to benefit A Safe Place
- Saving Lives & Creating Futures will be held at 6 p.m. at 1 Liberty Lane in Hampton.
- Concord VFW Post 1631, 6 Court St. in Concord, hosts a cancer aid and research fundraiser at 6 p.m.
- The Canvas Roadshow in Bedford hosts its second anniversary part at 6:30 p.m.
- A Concord contra dance will be held at 8 p.m. at the East Concord Community Center, 18 Eastman St. in Concord. Tickets are $5-$7.
Sunday
- More than 80 dealers will be at the Milford Antiques Shows at the Hampshire Hills Athletic Club, 50 Emerson Road in Milford
- Exeter Hospital’s Trick or Treat Trot 3.5 Mile Run/Walk & Creepy Crawler Fun Run will be held at the hospital campus at 9 a.m. Advanced registration is required.
- Sharon Jones performs a jazz brunch at 10 a.m. at Rudi’s Portsmouth, 20 High St. in Portsmouth.
- “Becky Rule: That Reminds Me of a Story,” will be presented at the West End Studio Theatre, 959 Islington St. in Portsmouth at 2 p.m.
- The Seacoast Storytellers Guild celebrates 30 years of storytelling at the Portsmouth Public Library, Parrott Avenue in Portsmouth at 2 p.m.
- An Icon Painting Workshop will be held at the Grace Episcopal Church, 30 Eastman St. in Concord from noon to 3 p.m. Advanced registration is required.
- Colin Lynch performs organ music at the First Church Nashua, 1 Concord St. in Nashua at 3 p.m. Tickets are $12-$15.
- CraftAlive! 2014, a fundraiser for the League of NH Craftsmen that includes a silent auction, craft demonstrations, and food, will be held from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at the Grappone Conference Center, 70 Constitution Avenue in Concord. Tickets are $75; registration is required.
- The Saints Mary and Joseph Parish Contemporary Music Group will offer a family concert of contemporary Christian music at 7 p.m. at the Saints Mary & Joseph Parish, 200 Lawrence Road in Salem.
- Boz Scaggs will be performing at the Capitol Center for the Arts, 44 S. Main St. in Concord at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $54.50 to $75.
