Back on July 13, police were sent to Mountain Road at around 9 p.m. for a report that lights were on in a house that was supposed to be vacant.
When they arrived, they checked the house but found no one inside. A vehicle though was found in the driveway. A check of the vehicle stated that it belonged to Kennard, who used to live next door.

The officers checked the backyard and reportedly found Kennard hiding in a tree line.
“Joshua was walking from the backyard area towards us when we called for him,” the officer alleged. “Joshua told us that he pulled into his driveway and saw the police and got nervous. He went to the rear of his old house to watch us.”
While speaking with Kennard, the officers were informed that he may have knocked on a neighbor’s door. Two women in the home who were housesitting reported hearing a knock at the door before police arrived. They did not answer the door and the vehicle left only to reappear next door, they stated.
The officers asked Kennard if he had knocked on the door and he allegedly stated that he had.
However, Kennard had an active protection order from June 22, 2015, not to go near the home. He was arrested and held without bail.
Later, another officer investigated a trespassing complaint against Kennard, who was not supposed to be at the Mountain Road address.
According to a court affidavit, a woman with power of attorney over the address filed a complaint with police that there had been damage done to a screen door and that the lights were turned in early July even though she had previously secured the building.
A male neighbor reported to the woman that he had allegedly seen Kennard on July 11, and July 12, 2015, even though he had allegedly forfeited his rights to the property and was not supposed to be there without a person from the woman’s office.
Officers inspected the home and found no one inside. However, they found a broken windowpane and glass on the floor and saw that the screen door had been cut. The officers spoke with three neighbors who all alleged seeing him in or around the property earlier in the month. They also examined the trust paperwork to the home and then, issued a warrant against Kennard on July 23, 2015.
Kennard was arrested on the trespassing charges on Aug. 11, while being incarcerated at the Merrimack House of Corrections.
According to posts on Concord NH Patch, Kennard has previously been arrested for stalking, prowling, and criminal trespass in May concerning incidents on Shaker Road. In June, he was arrested again for violation of a protective order after an incident on Mountain Road. In October 2014, he was arrested for obstructing the report of a crime or injury and default tor breach of bail conditions, after reportedly seeing people outside of his home. In November 2011, he was charged with simple assault at his home on Mountain Road.
