Follow-Up: Concord Man Faces Large Capacity Weapon Charge In Massachusetts

After a fight at the Draft Saturday, Brandon Sullivan was arrested on multiple charges — including a fugitive warrant out of Salisbury, MA.

CONCORD, NH — Concord police have released details of the fugitive arrested after a fight at The Draft bar and restaurant and Concord Casino on South Main Street.

Around 11:30 p.m., police dispatch received a call for service to the Draft bar and restaurant and Concord Casino for a report of a fight where one man had another pinned to the ground. After containing the scene and interviewing witnesses, police arrested Brandon Sullivan, 29, of Concord on a warrant from the Concord Police Department and one out of Salisbury, Massachusetts, for carrying a prohibited weapon-large capacity. He was also charged with disorderly conduct, criminal mischief, resisting arrest or detention, and three counts of simple assault.

After being taken into custody, Sullivan was accused of smashing his head against the barrier of the police cruiser and was then taken straight to the county jail.

Lt. Richard Dellaria, an executive officer with the Salisbury MA Police Department, said Tuesday he could not provide details about the warrant against Sullivan.

“Unfortunately,” he said in an email, “we cannot provide any reports or details surrounding the charges because the warrant is pending service, and Mr. Sullivan has not been arraigned in open court yet.”

After Sullivan waives warrant extradition and is arraigned in Newburyport District Court, court officials will release the warrant and police report, Dellaria said.

Sullivan is no stranger to police, having been arrested a few times during the past 10 years, according to posts on Patch.

Back in 2012, when he was living in Barnstead, he was charged with drug possession. A year later, he was arrested on a simple assault charge and a bench warrant In February 2017, he was arrested on drunken driving and open container charges downtown. After moving to Manchester, he was arrested on a warrant in Concord in June 2019.
