According to the Concord Monitor, Jette joined all involved, sitting next to Galusha in the back seat of a Chevy Cruze. He reportedly pulled out a scale in order to measure the marijuana while Galusha presented a half ounce to him, according to testimony by a Concord detective. When Galusha let go of the bag, Jette allegedly grabbed it and exited the car.

Galusha and others ran after Jette into the apartment building where he became stuck in the lobby. They requested that he return the marijuana, according to court testimony, but he allegedly refused. Jette then allegedly pulled a knife and stabbed Galusha in the buttocks and a struggle ensued.

During that struggle, someone was able to close the knife and Galusha and the others left the building, fleeing back to the car. However, Jette allegedly chased after them and when he got to the vehicle, he was able to hold its door open. He then allegedly stabbed Galusha “multiple times” – in the knee and on her chest, where it ultimately went into her heart and killed her, according to testimony.

Galusha’s friend drove from the scene but realized that her wounds were critical and stopped on North State Street to call for help. EMTs and police arrived at the scene and Galusha was transported to Concord Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

The street value of the marijuana was estimated by police to be about $90, according to court testimony.
