Concord Police Investigating ‘Random Attack’ On Iron Works Road
Crimeline Alert: A woman was attacked on her back porch by a stranger who emerged from a wooded area near Martin Field and Madison Street.

CONCORD, NH — The Concord Regional Crimeline has issued an alert asking for the public’s help tracking down a man who attacked a woman on Iron Works Road Saturday night.
Police were sent to a home on the road around 10 p.m. in the area of Martin Field and Madison Street for a report of a random attack. A woman, who was sitting on her back porch, said a stranger emerged from a wooded area near her home, ran toward the woman, and attacked her. The man “pushed her down by the throat and struck her multiple times in the face,” according to Lt. Marc McGonagle of the criminal investigations division of the Concord Police Department.
“Earlier in the evening,” he said, “a neighbor from Iron Works Road reported seeing a subject walking through backyards.”
