Alex M. Dyment, 27, of Ridge Road in Concord, was arrested at 12:48 a.m. on Feb. 10, on a criminal trespass charge. Officers were sent to Rumford Street for a report of a homeowner finding a man in his kitchen. Dispatchers said the man had left the home but his jacket and keys were still in the home. While driving toward the home, the officer saw two men talking in the middle of Warren Street. One, an off-duty officer, said he found the other man, Dyment, wandering down the street without a jacket while he was shoveling. The officer spoke to Dyment and asked where he was coming from and he reportedly didn’t want to answer but later said Penuche’s and he was heading home. His ID, however, listed Ridge Road as an address. When asked why he wasn’t wearing a jacket, “Dyment seemed confused by the question,” the report alleged. “I don’t know,” he allegedly answered. Dyment was taken into custody while another officer went to the home to speak to the homeowner who described the man. The description reportedly matched Dyment. He was then driven over to the home and the homeowner allegedly identified him as the person in the home earlier. Dyment was arrested and is due in court on March 16.
