Concord Police Log: Boston Man Bagged on DWI
Plus, Salisbury man arrested for heroin; Concord woman charged with felony forgery.

Jennifer V. Beck, 39, of West Salisbury Road in Salisbury, was arrested at 12:45 p.m. on Feb. 11, 2015, was arrested for driving after revocation or suspension charge and four bench warrants. While on Fisherville Road, on officer saw a vehicle with an expired inspection sticker. The vehicle was pulled over after heading into the McDonald’s Restaurant parking lot. The driver, Beck, had a suspended license from Oct. 16, 2014, and was convicted of operating after revocation on Aug. 25, 2014.
Jared Peterson, 25, of Dover Road in Chichester, received a summons at 6 p.m. on Feb. 10, on a theft by unauthorized taking or transfer charge from Shaw’s Supermarket on D’Amante Drive allegedly involving more than $65 worth of groceries he allegedly did not pay for.
Shannon M. Gibson, 38, of West Street in Concord, was arrested at 3:42 p.m. on Feb. 9, for felony forgery, receiving stolen property, and theft of services from Nov. 16, 2014, at a home on South Main Street, and a bail jumping charge. She’s due in court on March 16.

Kaitlyn M. Edwards, 23, of North Street in Jaffrey, was arrested at 2:43 a.m. on Feb. 8, for possession of drugs and possession of controlled drugs. An officer stopped a Volkswagen Passat for a defective driver’s side headlight on Pleasant Street. When he approached the car, he allegedly smelled marijuana coming from the car. The driver, Edwards, allegedly “appeared to be overly nervous” and was “visibly shaky.” When asked if she had been smoking, she allegedly stated, “No,” and said that at a company gathering earlier, there were others smoking. Later, she allegedly handed over a small amount of marijuana, a grinder, and a pipe to the officer and was arrested. She’s due in court on March 16.
Steven L. Faiella, 25, of Connemara Drive in Chichester, was arrested at 1:26 a.m. on Feb. 7, for driving while intoxicated. Officers standing outside of the clock tower on North Main Street reportedly saw a Subaru Impreza not stop for pedestrians in a crosswalk. The officer got into a cruiser and the vehicle was pulled over on Loudon Road. The driver, Faiella, allegedly smelled like alcohol and had glassy, bloodshot eyes. He allegedly admitted to having a single beer. He agreed to a field sobriety test and was arrested.

Stephanie L. Carter, 38, of Lew Alice Drive in Boscawen, received a summons at 7:52 a.m. on Feb. 6, for operating without a valid license after a traffic stop on Fisherville Road for an expired license after a check of a vehicle. She’s due in court on March 9.
Nathan Barrows, 36, of Loudon Road in Concord, was arrested at 12:10 p.m. on Feb. 5, on a theft by unauthorized taking or transfer charge allegedly involving the theft of two plastic packages of Vendage wine valued at $10. He’s due in court on March 9.
Chang Ying Chen, 28, of Hudson Street in Boston, MA, was arrested at 12:44 a.m. on Feb. 4, on two counts of driving while intoxicated. An officer on Centre Street reportedly saw a Nissan Versa on North Main Street, driving without its lights on, in the southbound lane and nearly hitting the median. The vehicle was pulled over the intersection at Centre Street and the officer spoke to the driver, Chen, who allegedly smelled like alcohol, had bloodshot, glossy eyes, and purple lips. Chen reportedly stated he was just leaving the Tea Garden Restaurant. The officer allegedly saw an open bottle of Yellow Tail Cabernet wine in the front passenger seat and his sweatpants were also stained by what appeared to be red wine. Chen agreed to a field sobriety test and was arrested.
Allen T. Belton, 44, of Pleasant Street in Concord, was arrested at 8:29 a.m. on Feb. 3, on simple assault and default or breach of bail conditions. An officer was sent to Pleasant Street to try and find Belton who had an active warrant connected to an incident earlier in the morning. While parking on Merrimack Street and waiting for another officer, he saw Belton exit the home and spoke with him. He was later arrested and is due in court on March 9.
Zachary J. Bauer, 21, of West Salisbury Street in Salisbury, was arrested at 7:59 a.m. on Feb. 2, on felony possession of controlled drugs and possession of drugs on Dec. 25, 2014, at the Statehouse Plaza, allegedly involving a spoon with heroin.
Kenneth L. Banzhoff Sr., 59, of Liberty Street in Concord, was arrested at 9:48 p.m. on Feb. 1, for simple assault and domestic violence (simple assault). Officers were sent to Liberty Street for a domestic disturbance. They ran into a man, Banzhoff, in the driveway of the home. He reportedly “seemed confused” as to why they were at the home and appeared to be intoxicated. Banzhoff allegedly admitted to having a few drinks and fighting with his wife. He reportedly told officers that he was watching the Super Bowl and later, went upstairs and heard his wife on the phone. While overhearing the conversation, he got angry. Banzhoff then allegedly admitted to shaking and kicking his wife. Another officer spoke to the woman who stated that she was on the floor, speaking on the phone, and Banzhoff allegedly kicked her and grabbed while she was on the ground. Banzhoff was arrested and is due in court on March 9.
Steven B. Thompson, 55, of Nixon Street in Epsom, received a summons at 1:25 p.m. on Jan. 31, for operating without a valid license after a traffic stop for unsafe lane change on North Street and Penacook streets. His license came up as “inactive, individual moved,” according to the report and he was issued the summons.
Gina S. Summa, 46, of Maple Street in Concord, was arrested at 2:01 p.m. on Jan. 30, on two felony counts of sale of controlled drugs. She was wanted by the Merrimack County Sheriff’s Department for allegedly being in possession of 0.8 grams of heroin.
