Robert W. Whiteside, 38, of Manchester Street in Concord, was arrested at 9:24 a.m. on July 30, 2015, on a warrant out of the Merrimack County Sheriff’s Office. Officers were patrolling through the mobile home park on Manchester Street when they saw a woman sitting on the steps of a home slumped over as if she were passed out. The woman look disheveled; she had one shoe on with another shoe on the ground. The officer recognized her from past contact – although he noted she had since lost a lot of weight – and stopped to see if she was OK. The woman was reportedly slurring her speech but claimed she wasn’t high. A man came out of one of the trailers to speak to officers. He allegedly claimed his name was “Bobby White,” but one of the officers knew him as Whiteside. While officers ran a check on Whiteside – a check that came back that he had several active warrants – another man came outside and became angry that the officers were in the roadway. The reporting officer stated that while speaking with the second man, Whiteside was allegedly trying to exit out a back door of the trailer. He was arrested and held for sheriffs.

Kayla McNamara, 21, of Sheep Davis Road in Pembroke, was arrested at 3:30 a.m. on July 29, on a theft by deception charge from Walmart on Loudon Road on April 27, involving stolen diet pills. According to a report, McNamara came in to speak with an officer about a warrant arrest for the incident. She reportedly told the officer that she had previously bought the pills and had them in her purse, came to the store, grabbed another bottle to exchange them, but then decided to return the item. The officer said that video of her time in the store didn’t show her bringing in the pills but instead, just taking a bottle off the shelf. She reportedly stated she was confident that she did not steal anything from the store and had only returned the pills. McNamara was arrested and is due in court on Sept. 14.

Tiffany R. Ramos, 26, of Manchester, received a summons at 11:17 a.m. on July 28, for theft at the Route 106 Shell station on Sheep Davis Road. An officer was called to the store for a shoplifter in custody. The manager alleged that Ramos “started grabbing things off the shelves,” including two Hostess pastries, a Charleston Chew, two Charms Boutique, two Starburst, a pack of Reese’s and a pack of Skittles, and then pretended to drop her purse and put all the items inside. She then went up to the counter and paid for a drink but not the other items. Ramos was stopped outside and agreed to come back in the store. The officer watched the video footage and then issued a summons to Ramos. She’s due in court on Aug. 31.

Jason P. Marcoux, 39, of Concord, was arrested at 10:50 p.m. on July 27, for criminal trespass. Officers were sent to the YMCA on North State Street for a possible trespasser. A staffer reported that at around 8:30 p.m., she had closed the building, ensured all the doors were locked, and done a walkthrough of the building, and everything was fine. At 10:30 p.m., she drove by the building and saw lights illuminated on the second floor. She noted it was an area of the building that someone thought may have allegedly been used by a former, terminated employee, Marcoux, during the weekend, because another employee had reportedly found his login settings activated on her computer. Marcoux was terminated on July 24, she reported. Officers checked the first floor and then the second floor. On the second floor, one of the officers allegedly located Marcoux walking toward the back of the building. He was ordered to stop and drop, and complied, according to police. “I asked Marcoux what was going on. He replied, ‘I’m sorry, I know I’m not supposed to be in here,’” the officer alleged. “I asked Marcoux why he was in the building. Marcoux stated that he lost his job and had nowhere to go.” According to another employee, Marcoux was allowed to leave some items in the building when he was terminated since he was homeless but had reportedly agreed not to return to the building without being accompanied by an employee. He’s due in court on Aug. 31.
