Officers were sent to the store after the owner of a Ford Edge filed a complaint about their vehicle possibly being struck in the parking lot. Police watched security video at the scene and then, posted the information on the department’s Facebook account and requested help with the case.
After receiving tips about the case, a warrant was issued for Bean’s arrest and he turned himself in last week. He was processed and released on personal recognizance bail and is due in court on June 27.

An alert was issued in early April and tips about the case were submitted to the department.
Smith was charged after an officer went to speak to him at the Rockingham County House of Corrections in Brentwood on May 13, 2016, where he was being held on unrelated charges. According to an arrest report, Smith didn’t know why a Concord officer was there to speak with him and then was asked about the stolen pizza.
“Dylan was forthcoming and told me he went to Walmart with his friend Matt Rollins, took a pizza out of the case, and walked out of Walmart without paying,” the officer alleged. “Dylan continued on and told me that when they were approached by Walmart security, Matt started to run, so he followed. Dylan went on to say he is homeless and just wanted food. Dylan apologized for the trouble this caused everyone.”
Smith refused bail and was arraigned on May 16.
The next day, Rollins was arrested by the Laconia Police Department on the Concord warrant. He’s due in court on June 20.
