The woman – later identified as Moran – was reportedly in a back bedroom overdosing. EMTs transported her to Concord Hospital while an officer found that she had a bench warrant for non-appearance in court, with $500 cash bail, as well as a warrant for her arrested after her alleged role in an incident in mid-November 2017, involving Dwan Anderson. During that case, police alleged, Moran assisted Anderson after he allegedly walked away with cash during an undercover drug buy in Eagle Square.

After being evaluated at the hospital and cleared for release about an hour and 15 minutes later, the officer returned and informed Moran that she was being taken into custody on the warrants.

During processing, the officer allegedly found two prescription bottles containing pills. Moran reportedly claimed one was for a treatment she was undergoing while the other was Seroquel. However, the bottles didn’t have labels on them and she had no paperwork for them, an affidavit stated. A drug ID check found that one container was Lamotrigine while the other was unidentifiable. So a prescription drug charge was added to the warrants.

Last week, Moran was arrested on warrants after a drug enforcement operation on I-89 near Exit 2. Arrested at the time with Moran was Steven Newcombe – who allegedly stole a purse earlier in the day on North Main Street. She has also been arrested on a number of warrants during the past few years. Back in 2015, Moran was arrested in Bow on operating after suspension, possession of controlled narcotics, and possession with intent to distribute charges.
