Escapee Found Hiding Inside Queen City Home: NHSP
Breaking: Convicted felon Scott Gagne is back in NH DOC custody after being arrested last night in Manchester.

CONCORD, NH — A walkaway from a transitional housing unit in Concord is back in custody after being arrested last night in the Queen City. Scott Gagne, a convicted thief and drug felon, was arrested on May 9, 2019, on a felony escapee charge. Gagne, according to the NH DOC, was placed on escape status on May 7, after reportedly failing to return to the North End Transitional Housing Unit by the New Hampshire State Prison in Concord.
New Hampshire State Police and Department of Corrections investigators received leads and were able to track Gagne down to Manchester, according to Det. Sgt. Justin Rowe of the NHSP.
“With the assistance of the Manchester Police Department, Gagne was located hiding inside of the residence and he was then placed under arrest by the Manchester Police Department without further incident,” Rowe stated.

He had been serving a sentence for willful concealment and controlled drug acts prohibited, and was scheduled to be released on parole in December. Gagne faces 3.5 to seven more years in prison if convicted on the escape charge.
NHSP are asking anyone with information on where Gagne has been the past couple of days to come forward and speak with an investigator. Contact Det. Trooper Christopher Martineau at 603-223-8626.
