Happy (Belated) Birthday, Tippy McBride
Shirley Ann "Tippy" McBride of Pittsfield went missing in Concord on July 13, 1984, when she was 15. She would have been 54 this week.

CONCORD, NH — On April 5, Shirley Ann “Tippy” McBride of Pittsfield, who has been missing since July 13, 1984, turned 54.
McBride’s missing persons case is one of several mysteries, including suspicious deaths, that remain unsolved in Concord. Although, from recent evidence, it appeared as if investigators may have a potential suspect and evidence, too.
Her case, however, remains unsolved to this day.

Janis Taylor, 15, a sophomore at Concord High School, was reported missing on Jan. 8, 1968. She grew up in Warner and also attended Manchester Central High School. Taylor was associated with people who worked at Rumford Press (now the Concord Center). Taylor lived on North State Street, School Street, and Manchester Street while living in the city.
Judy Lord, 22, of Concord was found strangled to death in her Royal Gardens apartment on May 20, 1975. She was last seen alive the night before, playing volleyball at the complex. Investigators say several interviews have been held with friends and acquaintances, attempting to find her killer. At one point in the investigation, police had a possible suspect but could not get probable cause to make an arrest despite evidence.
David Braley of Belmont, who disappeared from Concord on Nov. 10, 1989, from the Take 5 Music Hall after a fight behind the club in which he was beaten badly. His body was pulled from the Merrimack River in Manchester on March 18, 1990. The case was not ruled a homicide but a suspicious death because the incident suggests foul play was involved.
