Hooksett Man Charged With Negligent Homicide After Route 4 Crash
Dennis Boucher was arrested after a crash Sunday in Andover that took the life of a passenger on his motorcycle, Tonya Boucher.
CONCORD, NH — A Hooksett man was arrested after a crash Sunday in Andover that killed the passenger on his motorcycle.
Around 9 p.m., New Hampshire State Police were sent to Route 4 for a crash involving a 2007 Harley-Davidson. The driver, Dennis Boucher, 42, of Hooksett, was riding east when "when he failed to negotiate a left hand curve in the roadway and lost control of his motorcycle," according to Staff Sgt. Steven Wheeler.
"After losing control both Dennis Boucher and his passenger, 41 year-old Tonya Boucher were thrown from the motorcycle off the shoulder of the roadway," he said. "Tonya Boucher sustained fatal injuries as a result of the crash."

Dennis Boucher sustained what appeared to be life-threatening injuries and was flown by DHART medical helicopter to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, Wheeler said. At the hospital, he was and charged with negligent homicide.
The roadway was closed for about three hours while the crash was investigated by troopers with Andover firefighters assisting. The crash remains under investigation by the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit, including causation, Wheeler said, "however it does appear that alcohol was a factor in the crash." According to court documents, Boucher had a number of previous charges between 2000 and 2009 including conduct after an accident, rules of the road-disobeying an officer, reckless conduct, conversion, habitual offender, endangering the welfare of a child, and resisting arrest or detention.
