It’s Burgerfest Time at The Barley House
Both the Concord and North Hampton locations are assisting Fred's Fund, a benefit for the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth.

CONCORD, NH – It’s Burgerfest week at The Barley House in Concord as well as its new location in North Hampton.
This is the eleventh year the restaurant has put together the fundraising event for Fred’s Fund to benefit the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth.
For every burger sold, the restaurant donates $1, a business sponsor donates $1, and if you have a beer from the New Hampshire Distributor’s beer list, the company will kick in $1, too.

Each year, the restaurant adds new burgers and keeps old favorites, too. In Concord, an elk burger, sponsored by Individual Fitness, is featured along with a lamb burger sponsored by Sanel Auto Parts. Check out the full Concord Burgerfest menu in PDF here.

The Burgerfest menu in North Hampton, the new location which opened last year, is nearly completely different. Fred’s Fund is sponsoring Cajun crab sliders while Uncle Mike is sponsoring the lobster surf n’ turf burger (yours truly is thinking that might be worth a trip to the Seacoast for …). The fundraiser runs through June 18, 2016.
In 2014, more than 3,000 burgers sold; last year, it was nearly 3,300. The event tends to raise anywhere from $25,000 to $30,000, according to owner Brian Shea.
