Lakes Region Felon, With A String Of Suspended Sentences, Wanted On A Probation Violation: Corrections

CONCORD, NH — The New Hampshire Department of Corrections is asking for the public’s help in finding a felon accused of absconding from supervision in October 2025.

Jamie Joseph Judkins is 52, white, about 6 feet tall, 150 pounds, with brown eyes and balding brown hair. He has a shark with a fish tattoo on his left arm and a flaming skull on his right arm.

The warrant for his arrest was issued by the New Hampshire Parole Board after being convicted of reckless conduct with a deadly weapon.

“Judkins has an extensive criminal history that spans over three decades,” an alert stated, “and includes convictions for burglary, drug offenses, driving offenses, violation of a protective order, false imprisonment, stalking, criminal trespass, hindering apprehension/prosecution, resisting arrest/detention, disobeying a police officer, reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, and multiple probation and parole violations.”

Judkins, officials said, typically works in construction and also has ties to the Tilton area. He also has previously lived in Concord and Franklin, according to posts on Patch.

Judkins’ criminal history dates back nearly two decades, when he was charged with felony public safety and welfare; prohibited acts, after an incident in Laconia. He pleaded guilty to the charge in October 2008.

In July 2013, he was accused of acts prohibited in Northfield and pleaded guilty to the charge five months later. Judkins received a 12-month sentence and a $620 fine, both suspended for five years with three years of probation.

Judkins was accused of controlled drug act in Belmont in May 2014 and pleaded guilty to the charge in July of that year. He received a one-and-a-half- to three-year sentence and a $620 fine, both suspended for five years, with two years of probation. Judkins also pleaded guilty to a probation violation stemming from the Northfield sentence. He was given 53 days of time served credit.

In March 2015, Judkins pleaded guilty to a violation-of-probation-or-parole charge stemming from the Belmont incident and received a 12-month jail sentence. A month later, he pleaded guilty to a second violation-of-probation-or-parole charge in the Northfield case and received a 12-month jail sentence with 73 days of time-served credit.

Judkins was found in violation of a court order on the Northfield charge in September 2016.

In March 2016, Judkins was accused of burglary in Sanbornton. In September of that year, he pleaded guilty and received a one- to three-year prison sentence with three days of time-served credit.

Judkins was also accused of meth, fentanyl, marijuana, and other drug possession charges in September 2016 after an incident in Lebanon. In April 2017, he reached a plea deal on meth, fentanyl, and resisting charges. He was sentenced to one to three years in prison with 106 days time served credit and a suspended $620 fine, a two-to-four-year prison sentence suspended for five years and a $620 fine, and a 12-month jail sentence.

Judkins was accused of habitual offender in November 2022 after an incident in Alexandria. In April 2024, a jury found him guilty of the charge. Judkins was sentenced to two to four years in prison with 198 days of time served credit.

In June 2023, he was accused of failing to appear at a hearing on a violation of a court order regarding the Lebanon charges.

Also in July 2023, Judkins was accused of being a habitual offender and of disobeying an officer. In December 2024, he pleaded guilty to a hindering apprehension-prosecution charge, with the other two charges nolle prossed. Judkins was sentenced to 12 months in jail, suspended for three years.

Judkins was charged with reckless conduct-deadly weapon, habitual offender, disobeying an officer, and motor vehicle violations in January 2024 in Franklin. He was also charged with contempt of court in Haverhill. About five months later, Judkins pleaded guilty to the Franklin charges and received a 12-month jail sentence and two two-to-five-year prison sentences, all suspended. In June 2024, he pleaded guilty to the contempt charge and received a six-month jail sentence suspended for five years.
