Lakes Region Man Accused Of Wrong-Way Drunken Driving On Interstate 93
NHSP: "Multiple reports" about a driver traveling south in the northbound lane in Northfield and Canterbury led to Zachary Bunker's arrest.

CONCORD, NH — A Lakes Region man with a previous arrest history was arrested Friday night accused of wrong-way drunken driving on Interstate 93 in Canterbury.
At just after 11:45 p.m., New Hampshire State Police dispatch received “multiple reports” about a wrong-way driver traveling south in the northbound lanes of the highway between Mile Markers 53 and 49, in Northfield and Canterbury, Amber Lagace, the public information officer for the department, said. About 6 minutes later, a trooper found the vehicle in Canterbury at Mile Marker 46.8, “as it was approaching (a) trooper head-on, around a bend in the roadway,” she said.
“The trooper was able to successfully stop the motor vehicle in the left lane and made contact with the lone operator,” Lagace said.
