Bedford Man Indicted In Broomstick Beating Case: Court Roundup

Goffstown man indicted on forgery, theft charges; Gilford man accused of strangulating intimate partner; drug indictments in the Queen City.

MANCHESTER, NH — The following people were indicted recently in Hillsborough County Superior Court North.

Nicholas Acevedo, pictured upper left, 29, of Hayward Street in Manchester, on a felony possession of methamphetamine charge from Oct. 6, 2019, in Manchester.

Travis Allard, right, 41, homeless in Manchester, on a felony receiving stolen property charge. He's accused of stealing a credit card owned by another person on Sept. 24, 2019, in Manchester. Twice before, according to the indictment, Allard has been convicted of theft.

Christopher Allen, 41, of Lily Bay Road in Greenville, Massachusetts, on a felony controlled drug act; acts prohibited-meth charge from Oct. 7, 2019, in Manchester.

Juan Alvarado, 34, of Poor Street in Manchester, on a felony domestic violence-criminal threatening charge. He's accused of terrorizing an intimate partner with a knife on Sept. 7, 2019, in Manchester, by saying, "If I get arrested, someone is going to pay," or words to the effect.

Christian Browne, lower left, 35, of McFarland Road in Goffstown, on theft by unauthorized taking, possession of fentanyl, and two forgery charges. He's accused of being in possession of the drug on Sept. 8, 2019, in Goffstown, after previously been convicted on a drug charge. The theft and forgery charges reportedly involve more than $1,500 in cash from checks forged between Aug. 13, and Sept. 26, 2018, in Goffstown.

Matthew Brunt, 40, of 2nd New Hampshire Turnpike in Hillsboro, on a felony second-degree assault charge. He's accused of punching an intimate partner causing a laceration to her spleen on Sept. 18, 2019, in Lyndeborough.

Bruce Buchholz, 59, of Stephanie Drive in Bedford, on domestic violence-second-degree assault and falsifying physical evidence charges, both felonies. He's accused of striking an intimate partner in the head with a broomstick causing a laceration requiring stitches and washing the blood out of his clothing to impede an investigation on Oct. 14, 2019, in Bedford.

Zachary Bunker, 36, of York Garden in Gilford, on domestic violence-second-degree assault-strangulation and domestic violence-attempted second-degree assault-strangulation charges, both felonies. He's accused of grabbing an intimate partner by the neck with his hand on Sept. 4, 2019, in Manchester.

Luis Caceres, 46, of Putnam Street in Manchester, on possession of child sexual abuse images and tampering with witnesses and informants charges, both felonies. He's accused of sending a picture of his genitalia to a teenage girl and then requesting that she refuse to communicate with police the on July 7, 2019, in Manchester.

Cole Campbell, 26, of Belmont Street in Manchester, on two felony theft by unauthorized taking charges. He's accused of stealing Amazon Fire Kindles from the Target in Bedford on Sept. 30, 2019. Previously, according to the indictment, he has been convicted on theft charges.
