More Warrant Arrests At Hooksett’s Firebird Motel

Police: John Lafratta and Todd Twombly were picked up last night after police found they had active warrants for nonappearance in court.

HOOKSETT, NH — Two Manchester man, staying at the Firebird Motel in Hooksett, were arrested last night on warrants. John Lafratta, 55, left, and Todd Twombly, 51, both of Manchester, were arrested on Feb. 23, 2018, on active warrants. Sgt. Mike Zappala of the Hooksett Police Department noted that both man were reportedly staying at the motel when officers took them into custody.

Lafratta was arrested on an electronic bench warrant for non-appearance in court for a charge of stalking out of the Manchester District Court with a bail amount of $3,000 cash,” Zappala stated. “Twombly was arrested on an electronic bench warrant for non-appearance in court for a charge of simple assault out of the Franklin District Court with a bail amount of $1,000 cash.”

Neither man was able to post the bail amounts so they were transported to the Merrimack County House of Corrections. They will be video arraigned next week.

Previously, according to posts on Patch, Lafratta was arrested in June 2014, for driving while intoxicated and driving after revocation or suspension after reportedly striking a gate on Sheep Davis Road. Last year, he was reportedly wanted on warrants in Pembroke after a trespassing incident. Lafratta, police believed at the time, was able to slip out through a door of a home who reportedly once owned, but was found a few days later at a hotel in Manchester. Earlier this month, Lafratta was arrested in Nashua on harassment and threatening charges.
