Task force: Brandon Carl Hanson, a felon who was wanted for failure to appear on weapon and motor vehicle theft charges, has been located.

CONCORD, NH — This week's New Hampshire Fugitive of the Week was quickly located after the U.S. Marshals Service was assigned to try and find him.
According to Jeffrey White, a deputy marshal, Brandon Carl Hanson, 34, a felon who was wanted for failure to appear on weapon and motor vehicle theft charges in Belknap County, was being held in the Strafford County Jail in Dover.
"A short time after Hanson had been featured as the 'Fugitive of the Week,' multiple phone calls were received indicating that Mr. Hanson was currently in the Strafford County Jail being held on another criminal case," White said. "The NH Joint Fugitive Task Force was able to confirm that Hanson was in fact in custody in Dover, NH."

After confirming he was in jail, the information was relayed to the Belknap County Sheriff's Office. Sheriffs filed paperwork with Strafford County Jail requesting Hanson to be sent back to Belknap County upon the completion of his criminal matters in Strafford County, according to White.
