New Hampshire Manslaughter Convict Arrested In Massachusetts: Follow-Ups
Richard Paul Labbe was arrested on Thursday in Clinton, Mass.; 3 other NH fugitives found in recent weeks, corrections officials say.

CONCORD, NH — A manslaughter convict wanted on parole violations has been captured in Massachusetts, according to the New Hampshire Department of Corrections.
Richard Paul Labbe, 57, who had been missing for more than three years, was featured last week. After serving 13 years on a 15- to 30-year manslaughter conviction, after being charged with murder, Labbe was allowed work release. But then, he was accused of violating his parole, and a warrant was issued for his arrest in July 2020.
Labbe was caught in Worcester, MA, but released in December 2020. He had been missing ever since, according to officials.

On Thursday, Labbe was found in a local hotel in Clinton, MA, and was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service through “joint collaboration with law enforcement agencies,” an alert stated.
“The New Hampshire Department of Corrections thanks the United States Marshals Service for their assistance with this case,” the department said.

Other Captures, Updates
During the past two months, corrections and other agencies have located New Hampshire fugitives.

Eric Kyle Gonyer, 40, pictured above, was arrested on March 15 by Laconia police as part of an Operation Granite Shield initiative by the department, according to corrections.
“At the time of his arrest,” a public information update stated, “Gonyer was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.”
Gonyer was wanted on probation violations after being convicted of possession of a controlled drug. He now faces new charges, including a felony habitual offender count along with another drug charge.

Justin Michael Paquette, 35, was arrested by Canaan police on Feb. 24 on parole violations after being convicted of armed robbery. He was arrested by police from Canaan and Enfield as well as New Hampshire State Police troopers on several warrants. Paquette, pictured above, was featured on Nov. 1, 2023.

Chad James Dandeneau, pictured above, 49, who was featured in January, was arrested on Feb. 12 on a probation warrant stemming from a felon in possession of a dangerous weapon conviction. He was featured on Jan. 11. Dandeneau was arrested in Rochester by Strafford County Sheriff’s Office members and the U.S. Marshals’ Fugitive Task Force.
