New Hampshire Fugitive To Be Arraigned In Home Invasion Case On Monday: Update
Melvin James Campbell IV was arrested in Worcester Tuesday; police accuse him of armed robbery and burglary after Nashua incident in March.

CONCORD, NH — A New Hampshire fugitive of the week from late July has been formally charged after a home invasion incident in Nashua in March.
Melvin James Campbell IV, 21, was featured on July 27, after the U.S. Marshals Service was requested to find the reportedly “armed and dangerous” fugitive. Police in Nashua accused him of armed robbery and burglary after an incident on March 1.
Investigators were sent to the Southern New Hampshire Medical Center around 9:30 p.m. that evening to speak with the victim of an armed home invasion who had suffered “non-life-threatening injuries during the incident,” Lt. Joshua Albert said in a statement.

“The victim reported multiple people forced entry into his residence, assaulted him, and stole various items from within,” he said.
Detectives from the city’s criminal investigation division were assigned to the case and identified Campbell, who previously lived on McLaren Avenue in Nashua, as “one of the persons responsible,” Albert said. A felony burglary warrant was issued for his arrest on May 22, on a burglary charge.

Police also arrested Yesther Pascual, 20; Marcus Ndlovu, 20; Angel Gabriel Pascual, 20; and Christopher Dellop, 20, of Litchfield, as part of the case.
For months, police could not locate Campbell, and the New Hampshire’s joint fugitive task force was asked to assist. He was featured with the warning due to “a history of arrests including robbery, drug possession, falsifying physical evidence, and resisting arrest,” Jeffrey White, a deputy marshal, said.
Task force members “worked closely” with police and marshals in the Bay State, following up on tips and leads, he said.
“Based on these efforts,” White said, “members of the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force from both NH and Massachusetts were able to locate Mr. Campbell inside a business in downtown Worcester, where he was arrested without incident.”
Worcester police charged him as a fugitive from justice based on the outstanding Nashua arrest warrant, and he was held in the Worcester County Jail.
After being found in Massachusetts, an additional charge of armed robbery was issued against Campbell by Nashua police on Friday. The felon now faces up to 30 years in prison and fines.
Campbell is expected to be arraigned in Hillsborough County Superior Court South on Monday.
White said, along with task force members, police in Worcester, Mass. State Police, and the Strafford NH and Worcester MA county sheriff’s departments assisted with the case.
The Nashua Police Department requests anyone with information regarding this incident to contact the department’s Crime Line at 603-589-1665.
