Elderly Northwood Motorcyclist Dies During Route 4 Crash: NH State Police Roundup

CONCORD, NH — A motorcyclist from Northwood died on Saturday after a crash on Route 4, according to New Hampshire State Police.

Around 3:15 p.m., Northwood police were sent to the area of Blake Road for a report of an accident between a 2005 Harley-Davidson motorcycle and a 2015 Ford Mustang. According to an investigation by state police, the Mustang, driven by Howard Goodman, 67, of Concord, “crossed the centerline of the roadway and collided with the motorcycle.”

Amber Lagace, a public information officer for state police, said a passenger, Karen Goodman, of unknown age, was in the car. Both were taken to Concord Hospital with injuries. Phillip Allen, 77, of Northwood, was declared dead at the scene due to the injuries sustained in the crash.

The Northwood Police Department requested the state police’s Collision Analysis & Reconstruction Unit to assume the investigation. Police Troop A troopers, Northwood police, and Northwood firefighters assisted investigators.

Between July 1 and July 2, state police from Troop A, as part of a “a high-visibility DUI Saturation Patrol initiative in Seacoast area,” made 89 traffic stops, resulting in 12 citations and 76 warnings for various motor vehicle infractions.

Eight people were also arrested. They were:

Gregory C. Roberts, 35, of Franklin, Massachusetts, was arrested on a driving under the influence charge after an incident on B Street in Hampton.

Sandra M. Tibbetts, 60, of Tewksbury, MA, was arrested on Ocean Boulevard in Seabrook on a driving under the influence charge as well as a front lights required violation.

Peguy Lubin, 51, of Derry was arrested on Route 16 north in Portsmouth on a driving under the influence charge and a lane control violation.

Raymond A. Ouellette, 26, of Salisbury, MA, was arrested on Ocean Boulevard in Hampton on a driving under the influence charge and an open container violation.

Creed J. Kristiansen, 24, of Newmarket was arrested on Squamscott Road in Stratham on aggravated driving under the influence and driving under the influence charges as well as an open container violation.

Ryan M. O’Hare, 24, of Epping was arrested on Route 101 east in Epping on an aggravated driving under the influence charge.

Brandon E. Selsing, 28, of North Adams, MA, was arrested on Ocean Boulevard in Hampton on an operating after revocation or suspension charge.

Nicole M. Kilger, 44, of Dover was arrested on Route 16 north in Newington on an operating after revocation or suspension charge.

All have future dates in district courts on the Seacoast.

“During this initiative,” Lagace said, “troopers also placed a total of four other adults into protective custody due to their level of intoxication posing a potential risk to themselves or others. These individuals were either released to a responsible party or to the Rockingham County Department of Corrections.”

Melissa Patrice Miller, 35, of Strafford was arrested at 8:22 p.m. on June 25, 2023, on violation of a protective order, stalking-domestic violence, and driving after revocation or suspension charges in Portsmouth.

Chad J. Mazzato, 26, of Derry was arrested at 7:01 p.m. on June 25 on felon in possession of a dangerous weapon, felonious use of a firearm, reckless conduct-deadly weapon, operating after being certified as a habitual offender, aggravated DUI-30+ mph, DUI-second offense, disobeying an officer, resisting arrest or detention, and driving after revocation or suspension charges as well as a driving without giving proof violation.

Joshua Dakota Shabram, 31, of Raymond was arrested at 2:21 p.m. on June 24 on a conduct after an accident charge in Raymond.

Hanns Loovensky Milfort, 20, of Charlestown, Massachusetts, was arrested at 3:55 a.m. on June 24 on a reckless operation charge in North Hampton.

Johnathon Jacob Kochowiec, 21, of Somersworth was arrested at 7:45 p.m. on June 23 on driving under the influence and DUI-adult less than 0.08; minor more than 0.02 charges as well as lane control and two open container violations in Newington.

Robert Patrick Chase, 36, of Dover was arrested at 5:39 p.m. on June 23 on a felony operating after being certified as a habitual offender and disobeying an officer charges as well as an uninspected vehicle violation in Rochester.

William Crowley-Banks, 27, of Rochester was arrested on a warrant at 7:33 p.m. on June 22.

Fred Henry Mailhot, 61, of Rochester was arrested at 4:26 p.m. on June 21 on a driving after revocation or suspension charge in Rochester.

Stefan Alexandrescu, 33, of Belmont, MA, was arrested at 11:58 p.m. on June 20 on a felony possession of a controlled drug and reckless operation charges in Hampton.

Michael David Pepper, 44, of New Ipswich was arrested at 4:58 a.m. on June 25 on a criminal threatening-deadly weapon and criminal mischief charges in Greenville.

Jennifer Anne Pratka, 29, of Litchfield was arrested at 10:32 p.m. on June 24 on an aggravated driving under the influence-collision with serious injury, negligent driving, and reckless conduct-deadly weapon charges in Nashua. Katrina Marlene Saldana, 41, of Lowell, MA, was arrested at 11:35 p.m. on June 22 on driving after revocation or suspension, driving after revocation or suspension-subsequent, and speeding-26+ mph over the limit of 55 or less charges in Nashua.

Shain A. Sargent, 27, of Merrimack was arrested on a warrant at 3:36 a.m. on June 22 in Merrimack.

Elias Manuel Rosado, 35, of Manchester was arrested at 12:59 a.m. on June 21 on aggravated DUI-0.16+, driving under the influence, DUI-adult less than 0,08; minor less than 0.02 charges and a lane control violation in Manchester.

Neysha Lee Hernandez, 26, of Dracut, MA, was arrested at 11:05 p.m. on June 20 on a driving after revocation or suspension charge and an unregistered vehicle violation in Manchester.

Maureen Leandro, 60, of Salem was arrested at 5:13 p.m. on June 19 on aggravated DUI-30+ mph, DUI, simple assault, disorderly conduct, obstruct government administration, reckless operation, speeding-26+ mph over limit of 55 or less, and two resisting arrest or detention charges as well as a following too closely violation in Manchester.

Derek Peter Rochleau, 45, of Merrimack was arrested at 12:22 a.m. on June 19 on a reckless operation charge in Merrimack.

Melissa Ayotte, 45, of Ashland was arrested at 6:31 p.m. on June 25 on a DUI charge as well as lane control, open container, and uninspected vehicle violations in Sanbornton.

Gustavo Lopez Rodriguez, 30, of Manchester was arrested at 6:25 p.m. on June 25 on a DUI charge in Lebanon.

Matthew B. Mahoney, 46, of Stowe, Vermont, was arrested at 4:17 p.m. on June 25 on a driving under the influence charge and open container and lane control violations in Concord.

Jason Scott Williams, 48, of Gilford was arrested at 1:22 p.m. on June 25 on a felony operating after certified as a habitual offender in Concord. A 32-year-old Concord man was also taken into protective custody.

Carmen Nilda Detres, 45, of Haverhill, MA, was arrested on a DUI charge at midnight on June 25 in Bow.

Joshua B. McCourt, 29, of Henniker was arrested at 1:06 a.m. on June 24 on speeding-existing conditions and disobeying an officer charges as well as lane control and operating a motorcycle without a motorcycle license violations in Concord.

Sajjad Imad Jawad, 26, of Lowell, MA, was arrested at 10:53 p.m. on June 23 on speeding-26+ mph over the limit of 55 or less and driving after revocation or suspension-subsequent charges in Bow.

Nancy Dowling, 55, of Derry was arrested on a stalking-domestic violence charge at 4:52 p.m. on June 23 in Warner.

Mary E. Plaisted, 35, of Grafton was arrested on a warrant at 9:36 a.m. on June 23 in Lebanon.

Grabriel Isaiha-Silva, 24, of Lawrence, MA, was arrested at 10:23 p.m. on June 22 in Bow on aggravated DUI-30+ mph, disobeying an officer, DUI, operating without a vali license, two reckless conduct-deadly weapon, and two aggravated DUI-attempt to elude charges in Bow.

Linda Garrity, 63, of Allenstown was arrested at 2:33 p.m. on June 22 on a DUI charge in Bow.

Benjamin Michael Piche, 34, of New Ipswich was arrested at 10:55 p.m. on June 21 on stalking-domestic violence, conduct after an accident, driving after revocation or suspension-subsequent, and two breach of bail charges in Hooksett.

John J. McManus, 42, of Colebrook was arrested at 3:54 p.m. on June 21 on a domestic violence-simple assault charge in Canterbury.

Reginald Everett Green, 33, of Boscawen was arrested at 12:27 p.m. on June 20 on a suspension of vehicle registration charge in Concord.

Jonathan H. Leblanc, 36, of Concord was arrested on a bench warrant at 1:33 p.m. on June 27 in Clarksville.

Robert Guillemette, 60, of Goshen was arrested at 8 a.m. on June 30 on aggravated felonious sexual assault and five child sex abuse image; buy, etc. charges, all felonies, in Newport.

Jessica L. Shute, 39, of Concord was arrested on a driving under the influence charge in Laconia at 4:33 p.m. on June 15.
