BOW, NH — A Lakes Region man, with a long history of criminal offenses in the capital region, is in trouble again after an overdose incident at a hotel let to a 30-minute hunt by a police K-9 unit and an arrest in Concord Friday. Around 4:45 p.m., Bow police were sent to the Hampton Inn on South Street for a report of an overdose. Before police and EMTs arrived, the man fled the hotel room and hotel, according to a report.

The man was identified as Jon Daigle, 32, of Belmont, and a check by police found an active warrant out of Bedford on two felony counts burglary and forgery. Officers also received a tip that Daigle might be on Logging Hill Road and reports of a man crossing Interstate 89. A K-9 unit was called to assist and began tracking the man along Interstate 89 and tracked Daigle through a wooded area near Exit 2. About 30 minutes later, Daigle was found, according to police, on Iron Works Road in Concord. He immediately surrendered, according to police.

Daigle was charged with the two felony counts in the warrant and a single charge of resisting arrest. He was released on personal recognizance bail and is due in Hillsborough County Superior Court North in May.
