According to superior court records and posts on Patch, Plante’s criminal history dates back about 12 years, from when he was a teenager, living in Hudson, and being arrested on a criminal threatening charge.

Plante was involved in four different cases in 2019: In January, he was accused of criminal trespass, theft, and two felony theft charges; in April, he was charged with burglary, breach of bail, and criminal trespass; and Plante was charged with receiving stolen property in October all in Hudson; and controlled drug-heroin/crack in November of that year. In August 2019, he pleaded guilty to the theft and criminal trespass charges from the first two cases and received two deferred 12-month sentences. In April 2020, in Hudson, he was charged with drug possession. Thirteen months later, he pleaded guilty to the stolen property and drug charges and received three one-and-a-half to three-year sentences, all suspended for three years. In July 2021, he was accused of probation violations. One was withdrawn, while a “true” finding was issued on one.

Six more charges were filed against Plante in 2021: In Nashua, in March, he was charged with possession-sale of narcotic drug and resisting arrest or detention; burglary, criminal trespass, stalking, and breach of bail in Hudson in June; possession-sale of narcotic drug, theft, stalking, criminal trespass, and breach of bail charges in June and July in Hudson; theft, stalking, disobeying an officer, and breach of bail in Hudson in July; acts prohibited in Nashua in July; and theft and stalking in Hudson in July. Plante was found guilty on several of the charges and received suspended sentences as well as a three-and-a-half to seven-year sentence in state prison with 216 days of credit for time served.

In November 2022, he was accused of violating probation, and in July 2023, he filed a motion to suspend the sentence in one of the cases, which was denied. He then requested a sentence modification. A hearing was held, and the request was withdrawn in August 2023.

In April, a work release was proposed, and an order was issued in May.
