Bow Fire and Rescue teams as well as police were sent to the Hampton Inn on South Street for a report of “an unresponsive person” in one of the rooms, according to Sgt. Art Merrigan of the Bow Police Department. When EMTs and police arrived, everyone was found to be conscious and alert, he noted.

“While identifying all of the occupants, it was discovered two of them had outstanding arrest warrants and a third was arrested for possession of a controlled drug, methamphetamine, and resisting arrest,” Merrigan stated. “Officers also recovered two stolen vehicles. One was stolen from Concord and after processing, returned to its owner. The other, from Virginia, was towed from the scene.”

Maltais was held on $5,000 cash bail and was scheduled to be arraigned today. Ekstrom’s warrant was on a reckless conduct charge and she, too, was held on $5,000 cash bail. Miller was wanted by the Concord Police Department on a sale of amphetamine warrant. She was transported directly to police headquarters in Concord for booking and held on $500 cash bail.

“The investigation in to one of the stolen vehicles continues and further charges may be forthcoming,” Merrigan noted.

Maltais, according to reports on Patch, is no stranger to police in the capital region.

He was one of 11 arrested on Hall Street back in January during the first Operation Granite Hammer to hit the city of Concord. Last year, he was arrested in Concord on a bench warrant after a reported incident at a local motel. Maltais was also arrested this time last year for criminal trespass. In August 2014, he was arrested for assault after a domestic incident. Back in November 2011, he was arrested on a warrant and negligent driving.
