Fight Between 'Groups of Girls' Leads to Trespass Charge: Log

Concord Police: "Thick cloud of smoke" in the Walmart parking lot leads to pot charges for "giggling" trio; homeless sex offender arrested.

CONCORD, NH - Craig S. Laber, 53, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested on March 31, 2016, on a bench warrant. At around 6:30 p.m., while patrolling Stickney Avenue, an officer noticed Laber and checked to see if he had a warrant. Dispatch said he did – for nonappearance in Concord District Court, on a theft by unauthorized taking or transfer charge, issued on March 30. Laber was arrested and is due in court on May 2.

Leo F. Gonthier, 44, of Old Suncook Road in Concord, received a summons on March 25, 2016, for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer from an alleged incident on Jan. 6, 2016, at the Cumberland Farms on Manchester Street. While on a criminal mischief call at an apartment on Old Suncook Road, an officer found out that Gonthier had an active warrant. “Gonthier was wearing the same sweatshirt and hat that I had observed him wearing in the video when the theft took place at Cumberland Farms on Manchester Street,” the officer alleged. Since he was disabled and in a wheelchair, he was issued a summons on the charge and is due in court on May 2.

Drew R. Bunker, 25, of Columbus Street in Manchester, was arrested on March 20, 2016, for possession of controlled drugs and possession of drugs after being stopped on Loudon Road for a defective taillight. The officer reportedly smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle and Bunker allegedly handed over a glass smoking device and a grinder with marijuana in it to the officer. He was arrested and is due in court on April 26.

Derek C. Maltais, 32, of Concord Street in Concord, was arrested on March 15, 2016, for criminal trespass. Also arrested was John Letendre II, for criminal trespass. Officers were sent to High Ridge Trail at around 5 p.m. for a report of people trespassing on the property that was taped off with “do not enter” yellow tape by the sheriff’s department. Officers approached the manufactured home, checked the window, and then entered the home. They allegedly found Maltais and Letendre in one of the rooms removing some of their belongings after being evicted earlier in the month, according to the report. They are due in court on April 25.

Jevin V. Easler, 23, was arrested on March 10, 2016, for driving after revocation or suspension, suspended registration, and driver’s license prohibitions after a traffic stop on Broadway for traffic control device violation. A check of Easler found numerous failure to pay court fine utterances and an operating after suspension conviction out of Franklin District Court from July 2012. He was arrested and arraigned on March 28.

Christian O’Neil, 24, of Bear Road in Tilton, was arrested on March 6, 2016, for possession of controlled drugs. Also arrested was Darren A. Gero, 19, of Fisherville Road in Concord, for possession of controlled drugs and Benjamin A. Delisle, 19, of Alice Drive in Concord, for possession of controlled drugs and possession of drugs. Officers were sent to the Walmart parking lot on Loudon Road at around 6:45 p.m. for a report of individuals smoking marijuana in a Mercedes Benz. The first officer arrived at the scene and reportedly saw that “the vehicle was filled with a thick cloud of smoke,” according to a report. The driver – Delisle – allegedly attempted to conceal something under his seat. He allegedly stated, “Yes, you caught us, we were smoking marijuana,” according to the report. “All three individuals began giggling at that time,” the officer alleged. As the officer allegedly collected marijuana and a grinder from the car, the trio reportedly continued to giggle. They were later arrested and arraigned on April 11.

Rickey F. Patch, 58, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested on March 5, 2016, on a bench warrant out of Sixth District Court for nonappearance on a felony duty to report sex offender registration violation issued on March 1, $500 cash to settle. He reportedly only had $326 so he was arrested and held.

Jasmine T. Bernier, 22, of Penwood Drive in Concord, was arrested on March 3, 2016, for criminal trespass. Officers were sent to Tandy’s Top Shelf in Eagle Square at just before midnight for a report of a group of girls that wouldn’t leave when asked. One – Bernier – was allegedly “very intoxicated and overly emotional.” The officer learned that there was a scuffle between two “groups of girls” that briefly turned physical until they were separated. Bernier, however, “was quite a bit more intoxicated than the others,” according to the report, “and would not calm herself down.” The officer alleged that she “she continued to yell at me, ignore me, and look over my shoulder and continue to shout at others that were present,” according to the report. She had an active no trespass order at Tandy’s from May 2015 and was arrested. She was arraigned on April 11.
