CONCORD, NH — A woman from Dover was accused of possession of heroin/fentanyl and methamphetamine after being stopped twice, accused of driving at high rates of speed on Route 16 in Newington, Dover, and Rochester Saturday, according to the New Hampshire State Police.

Around noon, a state trooper clocked a Honda Pilot driving 90 mph in a 50 mph zone. The trooper attempted to catch up to the vehicle in Dover and made a traffic stop. The driver, Nicole George, 31, of Dover, was given a summons for speeding and released, according to Lt. John Hennessey of Troop A.

Plaistow Woman Faces DWI Charge After Spike Strips Stop SUV

A Plaistow woman will be in court next month on numerous charges after a drunken driving incident in Exeter Thursday.

Around 12:30 a.m., a state trooper monitoring traffic on Route 101 near Exit 12 when he saw a Subaru Forester and clocked it at 93 mph.

The trooper caught up to the vehicle and stopped it near Exit 13 in Hampton. After exiting the cruiser, the driver of the Subaru reportedly sped off on Route 101, driving East, according to Hennessey.

"(The) trooper was again able to catch up to the vehicle and a pursuit ensued as the driver failed to stop for his emergency lights and siren," Hennessey said. "As this pursuit continued, the driver reversed direction on Route 101 in Hampton and significant lane control issues were observed by (the) trooper."

The trooper accused the driver of reversing direction again at Exit 10 and driving on the wrong side of Newfields Road in Exeter. They then got back onto Route 101 eastbound, Hennessey said.

Troopers, a report stated, then deployed stop sticks, deflated the front driver's side tire, and stopped the vehicle a short distance later.

The driver, Trista White, 35, of Plaistow, was arrested and charged with aggravated DWI, reckless conduct, reckless operation, and disobeying an officer charges. She was released on bail and is due in Rockingham County Superior Court June 18.
