CONCORD, NH — A New Hampshire man is due in superior court in June after being accused of flashing a handgun on Route 4 in Durham Saturday.

State police, just after 6 a.m., received a complaint about a man brandishing a handgun at another operator on Route 16 in Newington. Troopers were able to catch up to the vehicle a short time later, according to Lt. John Hennessey of Troop A. The suspect, Nicholas Lacagnina, 23, of Newmarket, was questioned as well as the witness.

"(The) preliminary investigation revealed that the incident actually occurred on Route 4 in Durham," Hennessey said. "During their investigation, troopers developed probable cause to believe that Mr. Lacagnina had committed the crime of felony level criminal threatening, and he was taken into custody without incident."
