Hampstead Man Indicted On 7 Rape Charges: Court Docs
Salem woman indicted on criminal threat charge; Fremont man indicted on strangulation charge; and Mass. residents indicted on theft charges.

BRENTWOOD, NH — The following people were indicted in Rockingham County Superior Court recently.
James Michael Albert, 37, of Allied Street in Manchester on a felon in possession of a dangerous weapon charge, a collapsible knife, on May 3 in Epping. He is a felon due to a felony theft convicted in Hillsborough County Superior Court in May 2013, according to the court.
Robert Bavota, 64, of Brickett’s Mill Road in Hampstead on seven aggravated felonious sexual assault charges, all felonies. He is accused of raping a girl between Jan. 1, and Oct. 24, 2013, in Salem.

Anthony Caperci III, 24, of Mapleton Road in Manchester on reckless conduct with a deadly weapon and reckless conduct with a deadly weapon-extended term charges, both felonies. He was accused of driving after a deputy sheriff as well as other people, including pedestrians, in Hampton on June 20. Rafael A. Mortan, 38, of Laurel Avenue in Haverhill, Massachusetts, on theft by deception and forgery charges, both felonies. He was accused of depositing a false check for $4,500 into a Salem bank on Oct. 8, 2020.

Elizabeth Ann Mudgett, 36, of Wiswall Road in Durham on a felony theft by unauthorized taking charge. She was accused of removing money from another person’s account on Feb. 17 in Stratham. Twice before, she has been convicted on theft charges, according to the indictment.
Kevin Michael Murray, 48, of Henry Law Avenue in Dover on a felony criminal threatening charge. He was accused of pointing a handgun at another person while they drove in Portsmouth on Jan. 8.
Brendan William O’Connor, 35, of Kimball Street in Cambridge, MA, on a felony receiving stolen property charge. He was accused of receiving or retaining seven credit cards from another person on Jan. 26, 2020, in Plaistow.
Bailey M. Pitkin, 25, of Beede Hill Road in Fremont on a felony second-degree assault-strangulation-domestic violence charge. He was accused of strangling a woman on March 13 in Nottingham.
Richard William Porter, 61, of School Street in Woburn, MA, on a felony attempted theft by deception charge. He was accused of purposely creating the false impression that he owned a home in Candia that was listing for sale on May 14, 2020.
Joseph David Pullen, 62, of Lower New Zealand Road in Seabrook on attempted aggravated felonious sexual assault, indecent exposure and lewdness, and two felonious sexual assault charges, all felonies. He was accused of fondling a boy and giving him drugs on Feb. 26 in Seabrook.
Jeffrey Redfern, 51, of Essex Street in Lynn, MA, on a felony fraudulent use of a credit card charge. He was accused of using another person’s credit card between July 11 and Oct. 11, 2020, in Seabrook.
