Mirsky: America Expects More Than Trump Can Deliver

For your consideration as you think about the person you want to vote for President this November, I have put together a list of some of the accomplishments of our recent Presidents which I am placing before you as the types things that impending Republican Nominee Donald Trump would just not be able to do:

1. Barack Obama: Serve as a beacon of hope to all peoples of the world as an example of grace, dignity, and calm in distressed times, while making clear by his example that in America we have a goal of creating opportunity for all regardless of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation or religious affiliation. Bring America back from economic disaster caused by lax federal regulation of our banking system.

2. George W. Bush: Keep the country together during an unprecedented terrorist attack on the financial and cultural center of the United States, while maintaining a positive outlook and encouraging the American people to feel safe with the understanding that everything was being done behind the scenes to protect American citizens against a follow-up terrorist attack.

3. Bill Clinton: Raise America out of the financial disaster caused by the Savings and Loan Crisis of the late 1980s and early 1990s, caused by lax federal regulation of our banking system. Begin moving our country towards fair and equal treatment of all Americans regardless of sexual orientation. Begin moving our country towards a health care system that provides access to health care for all, regardless of ability to pay or pre-existing medical condition.

4. George H. W. Bush: Lead the world into the post-Cold War Era with stability and grace. Enact legislation providing for fair and equal treatment of all Americans with Disabilities.

Clearly Hillary Clinton can do this job. There isn't anything listed above that Donald Trump could do.
