Mirsky: Jeb Bush is Ready to Defeat Trump and ISIS

Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush is ready for a fight.

Jeb Bush, the former Governor of the key electoral state of Florida, and the son and brother of former U.S. Presidents, appeared at 2 p.m. today, Dec. 19, 2015, in the Exeter Town Hall, here in historic Exeter.

Exeter is historic for many reasons but one of the most important is that famous American President Abraham Lincoln, a Republican, spent a lot of time here because he had a son attending school here. The Town of Exeter is dotted with particular sites where Abraham Lincoln was present, and one of them was the Exeter Town Hall, where Lincoln made a famous speech railing against divisiveness in our country.

I mention this because today Exeter may have served as the launching pad for another Great American President. Yes, I’m talking about Jeb Bush, and he was that good.

The main things about Jeb Bush that I learned (or confirmed) today, were

  1. Jeb Bush is extremely intelligent, well-read, well prepared, knowledgeable, serious, reasonable, and understanding of the problems of the average person. Jeb Bush knows more of the details of policy than most politicians, and Jeb Bush does not need handlers or political consultants to tell him what to say. After speaking and taking questions, which he answered directly and without hesitation, Governor Bush spoke with voters one-on-one, and continued to answer questions and basically speak with people in an easygoing but very respectful and serious manner.
  2. As for Donald Trump, Jeb Bush brushed him off as a clever politician who just isn’t serious about the serious matters involved in being the President of the United States. Jeb Bush’s main quarrel with Donald Trump is that Trump just isn’t serious and doesn’t know anything.
  3. Jeb Bush cares deeply about education, and he cares especially about making sure that all Americans have access to a quality education so they can become productive and contribute to society. A Jeb Bush Presidency would be focused on eliminating illiteracy.
  4. Most importantly, Jeb Bush is not afraid of ISIS, not afraid of terrorism, not afraid of anything. Jeb Bush intends to deal with ISIS directly by hitting them hard in the most strategically effective manner possible. I asked Governor Bush if we are inevitably headed toward a ground war in the Middle East which would cause our sons and daughters to be drafted into military service, and Jeb Bush answered, without hesitation, “No.” Jeb Bush believes that with tough, realistic, strategic military action, we can defeat ISIS, and a draft will not be required.
