Former EMT Faces More Child Rape Charges: Rockingham County Court

Plus: Elderly Seabrook man indicted on knife threat charge; Derry man faces 6 sexual assault charges; Loudon man indicted on drug charges.

BRENTWOOD, NH — The following people were indicted recently in Rockingham County Superior Court.

Brian Belew, 37, of Franklin Avenue in Chelsea, Massachusetts, on a felony theft by unauthorized taking charge. He was accused of stealing items from Kohl’s in Salem on Jan. 25, 2019. Twice before, according to the indictment, he has been convicted on theft charges.

Briana L. Beliveau, 34, of Middle Road in Dover was arrested on a felony accomplice theft by unauthorized taking charge. She, while acting in concert with Andrea Knowles, selected merchandise from Walmart in Seabrook, concealed it in a purse, and left the store, the indictment claimed. Twice before, she has been convicted on theft charges.

Christopher Brooks, 54, of Court Street in Boston, MA, on forgery and theft by deception charges, both felonies. He was accused of uttering and cashing a check from the account of Contemporary Automotive in Derry for $2,996.11, knowing the signature was false on Nov. 19, 2021.

Alex B. Burgmeier, 25, of Ashuelot Main Street in Ashuelot on two felony aggravated driving while intoxicated charges. He was accused of driving drunk on Mill Road in North Hampton on Aug. 7, 2021, and causing a crash that injured his bladder and liver.

Todd A. Burnim, 54, of South Road in Kensington on two felony aggravated felonious sexual assault charges. He was accused of raping a girl between Sept. 1, and Dec. 31, 2020, in Kensington.

Colby Chabot, 29, of Danville Road in Fremont on theft by deception and three possession of a controlled drug-subsequent, cocaine, fentanyl, and buprenorphine, charges, all felonies. He was accused of stealing $92.13 of merchandise from Aroma Joe’s in Salem on April 28 by passing a fake $100 bill after twice before being convicted on theft charges. At the time of the arrest, he was accused of possessing drugs after previously being convicted on a drug charge.

Mark Cronin, 65, of Charles Henry Way in Seabrook on a felony criminal threatening-deadly weapon charge. He was accused of placing one person and-or patrons of Backyard Burgers and Wings in Seabrook in fear of injury by holding a knife and threatening to slit throats or words to that effect on April 14.

James M. Curran Jr., 35, of Stoddard Point Way in Washington on possession of methamphetamine, possession of fentanyl, possession of amphetamine, and possession of diazepam charges, all felonies, on March 27 in Salem.

Joshua Mark Davis, 40, of Range Road in Loudon on two felony possession of a controlled drug-subsequent offense, fentanyl and cocaine, charges and a false report to law enforcement charge. He was accused of giving an officer a false name and possessing the drugs on Feb. 18 in Salem. Previously, he was convicted on one of more drug charges.

Justin P. Devoe, 35, of Fairway Drive in Derry on six aggravated felonious sexual assault charges. He was accused of raping, fondling, and sexually assaulting a woman on Nov. 27, 2021, in Derry.
