Concord And Rochester Felons Face Prowling, Trespass Charges In Londonderry
Tyler Hoyt, known to cops from prior incidents, and Shawna Grenier were arrested on Sunday, accused of attempting to burglarize a business.

LONDONDERRY, NH — Two people were arrested in Londonderry on New Year’s Day accused of attempting to burglarize a business in town.
Around 10 p.m. on Sunday, police were sent Rockingham Road for a report of multiple attempts to break into a business, Sgt. Chris Olson of the Londonderry Police Department said.
“The owner of the business was home at the time when he noticed several notifications regarding activity on the cameras at his business,” he said. “The business was closed at the time and fenced in.”

The business owner gave police descriptions of the suspects that were “very detailed,” Olson said.
“He reported that he could hear the subjects discussing how to break into the building as well,” he added.

Officers found the suspects — Tyler Hoyt, 28, of Concord, and Shawna Grenier, 42, of Rochester, still on the property, he said.
“An on-scene investigation determined that the two suspects had no legitimate reason to be on the property at the time,” Olson said.
Hoyt and Grenier were both charged with prowling and criminal trespass. Hoyt also had a bench warrant out of Manchester. He was held on $200 cash bail while she was released on personal recognizance. They were both scheduled to be arraigned in Derry District Court on Feb. 2.
Both Grenier and Hoyt have prior incidents in superior courts and around New Hampshire.
Grenier was convicted on felony habitual offender charges twice in Rochester in 2000 and once in Franklin in 2003.
Hoyt is a felon due to controlled drug: acts prohibited and habitual offender guilty verdicts out of Deerfield from December 2012. He was also convicted in August 2016 on a felony sale, transport, and manufacture control drug charge out of Laconia from April 2016. A year later, he was accused of controlled drug: acts prohibited in Concord, and 18 months later, he was accused of two counts in Concord. He pleaded guilty to all the felony counts in August 2018.
Hoyt has three open cases in superior courts.
In August 2022, he was charged with controlled drug possession and controlled drug: controlled drug where premises kept charges in Bedford. In Hooksett, a few weeks later, he was accused of controlled drug: acts prohibited and felon in possession of a dangerous weapon. And, in late September 2022, he was arrested on drug, evidence, and resisting charges in Concord, after a multi-town chase on Route 106.
Hoyt is due for dispositional conference hearings for all the cases on Feb. 16.
According to posts on Patch, Hoyt has also been arrested on parole violation warrants, accomplice to sale of methamphetamine, driving while intoxicated-drugs, prowling, resisting arrest, driving after revocation or suspension, false report to law enforcement, unauthorized use of a propelled vehicle, alcohol possession, breach of bail, stolen property, conspiracy to commit, and a smoking violation.
