In Claremont and Keene, state troopers and cops made nearly 100 motor vehicle stops for speeding, reckless operation, and other violations.
KEENE, NH — New Hampshire State Police and local police were involved in another DUI Saturation Patrol effort that led to five arrests in the western part of the state. Troopers spent Friday evening and Saturday morning conducting stops in the greater Claremont and Keene areas of the state. Ninety-nine motor vehicle stops were made for violations including speed, reckless operation, "hands-free" law, and marked lane violations, according to Lt. Michael Kokoski of Troop C.
"The patrol was conducted in the greater Claremont and Keene areas in partnership with the city’s respective police departments," he said. "During the patrol, troopers focused on apprehending impaired drivers, however all aspects of highway and public safety were addressed."
