Arrest in Nashua Market Basket Theft

On Thursday afternoon, a woman completed her shopping at the Market Basket at 375 Amherst St. but left her purse of her vehicle and drove off, dumping the purse on the ground, police said. The suspect picked it up, took out the cash, and tossed the purse in a barrel inside the store, police said.

Nashua Sal's Pizza Owner Killed in Crash

John Borrun, 47, of Litchfield, died after police said he was traveling on the southbound side of the Everett Turnpike when he lost control of his sport utility vehicle. Burron and a female passenger were thrown from the vehicle as it rolled several times, police said.

Trash Truck Catches Fire in Nashua

Deputy Fire Chief Glen MacDonald said the truck was traveling on the northbound side of the highway at about 11:30 a.m. when a fire broke out in the compactor.

Alleged Mother-Daughter Heroin Dealers Arrested

A mother and daughter reportedly involved in previous criminal activity in Nashua are in trouble again with the law after being arrested last week on drug dealing charges. Amy Manzi, 45, and Arieana Manzi, 22, of Vine Street, were charged with dealing heroin.
