Nashua Man Arrested On Knife Threat, Assault Charges
Kyle Mercer, formerly of Merrimack, was arrested on several charges after an incident on Dow Street and held on preventative detention.

NASHUA, NH — A local man faces multiple charges after an incident on Dow Street last week.
On Oct. 2, police were sent to a residence on the street for a report of an assault. While investigating the incident, police accused Kyle Mercer, 29, of assaulting and threatening another person at the address, according to Sgt. John Cinelli, the public information officer and communications division supervisor for the Nashua Police Department.
Mercer was arrested on felony criminal threatening-deadly weapon and three simple assault charges.

“Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division were assigned to further the investigation,” he said. “After obtaining a search warrant for the residence, detectives searched the property and located potential evidence.”
Mercer was held on preventative detention and was scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on Oct. 3.

Previously, Mercer lived in Merrimack, where he was arrested on criminal trespass, felony riot, and criminal threatening. He has also been charged with driving after suspension and vehicle registration suspension.
