Nashua Man Indicted On Kidnapping, Gun Threat, Other Charges: Superior Court Roundup

Merrimack man accused of assaulting woman; Nashua man indicted for strangulation; Boston man charged with stealing items from Sunglass Hut.

NASHUA, NH — A Hillsborough County grand jury indicted the following people recently.

Nicholas Shea, 41, of Windsor Drive in Merrimack on a felony second-degree assault charge. He was accused of striking a woman with a closed fist and causing a broken finger on Jan. 21 in Merrimack.

Jonah Simmons, 29, of Cannongate in Nashua on a felony driving while habitual offender charge. He was accused of driving on the Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack on Feb. 20 after being deemed a habitual offender by the NH DMV.

James Thompson, 38, of Lock Street in Nashua on kidnapping, criminal restraint, three criminal mischief, two reckless conduct, and three criminal threatening charges, felony charges. He was accused of pointing a gun at another man, saying words to the effect of, “You’re f------ coming with me,” following him back to his apartment, firing a gun at several parked vehicles near an occupied apartment building, Clocktower Place, and causing damage to the vehicles on March 24 in Nashua.

Larry Thompson, 43, of Fifield Street in Nashua on second-degree assault-domestic violence and tampering with witnesses and informants charges, both felonies. He was accused of strangling an intimate partner on March 31 in Nashua and attempting to induce or otherwise cause the victim to dismiss the charge on April 2 in Nashua.

Kayla Torres, 28, of Granite Street in Nashua on a felony controlled drug act; acts prohibited-cocaine charge on Feb. 21 in Nashua.

Jairo Giron Valdivieso, 22, of Bennington Street in Boston, Massachusetts, on a felony organized retail crime enterprise charge. He conspired with Maya Castillo, Elydel Zorilla, and Raul Rojas Norena to steal merchandise from the Sunglass Hut in Merrimack on May 27, 2023, according to the indictment.

Randy Widmer, 37, of no fixed address in Nashua on a felony theft by unauthorized taking charge. He was accused of stealing merchandise from Hannaford in Hudson on Feb. 2. Previously, according to the indictment, Widmer was convicted of theft in Nashua District Court in October 2008 and August 2022.

Gregory Dennell Williford III, 26, of Poplar Street in Manchester on a felony pistols & revolvers; convicted felons charge. He was accused of possessing a Glock 43 semi-automatic pistol on April 6 in Nashua. Williford is a felon due to an aggravated assault conviction in Moab, Utah, in May 2017.
