Nashua Police Arrest 2 On Drug Dealing Charges

Israel Carrillo is accused of selling narcotics in December 2018; Raeshawn Ferguson, convicted before, is accused of selling drugs in July.

NASHUA, NH — Two men, accused by police of again dealing drugs in Nashua, were arrested Monday on charges.

Earlier this summer, officers from the city's Problem Oriented Policing Unit began investigated drug dealing activities in the area of Tolles Street. Police accused Raeshawn Ferguson, 37, of Martin Street in Nashua, of selling heroin-fentanyl to a person July 22.

On Monday around 5:30 p.m., Ferguson was arrested on felony acts prohibited; sale of a controlled drug-subsequent offense and held. He was arraigned in Hillsborough County Superior Court South. Ferguson is due back in court for a dispositional conference hearing Oct. 8.

Back in December 2018, police in Nashua's Intelligence Division began an investigation into Israel Carrillo, 32, of Jackson Street in Nashua,

"During this investigation Detectives learned that Carrillo was selling illicit narcotics within the city of Nashua," according to Lt. Robert Page of the narcotics division.

Detectives were able to obtain information that led to a warrant being issued for Carrillo's arrest. He was found and arrested around 5:30 p.m. Monday and charged with two felony counts of acts prohibited; sale of a controlled drug-subsequent offense.

Previously, according to court documents, Ferguson was arrested on acts prohibited charges in February 2011 but the charges were later nolle prossed. He was convicted of a felony theft by unauthorized taking charge, due to two previous misdemeanor convictions, in March after an incident in February 2019 in Nashua. Ferguson was convicted on a controlled drug: acts prohibited charge in March after an incident in May 2019.

Carrillo has two active controlled drug: acts prohibited charges in superior court after an incident in Nashua in May 2018. He was charged on a fugitive from justice charge out of Nashua in December 2015 but the charge was later dropped. He was charged with controlled drug: acts prohibited in January 2014 by the charge was nolle prossed. Carrillo was later found guilty of manufacturing, selling an official register sticker in June 2014. He was charged with possession of a controlled-narcotic drug in February 2015 but the charge was nolle prossed. He was charged with sale, transport, manufacture controlled drug and receiving stolen property-$1,501+ in December 2015 but the charges were later dismissed. But in February 2017, Carrillo was convicted on controlled drug: acts prohibited and handguns-carrying without a license charges after an incident in December 2015 in December.
