Portsmouth, York Men Arrested for Fighting: Log

PORTSMOUTH, NH — Shannon Higgins, 38, of Abbott Way in Jackson, was arrested at 10:45 a.m. on Sept. 2, 2016, for cruelty to animals. Christopher Palentchar, 32, of Abbott Way in Jackson, was also arrested on the same charge at 2 p.m. on Sept. 3, 2016, They were both arrested was on a warrant.

Danny L. Sage, 24, of no fixed address, was arrested on a bench warrant at 2:25 p.m. on Sept. 3, 2016. He was arrested on Market Street.

George Hendrickson, 24, of Lafayette Road in Portsmouth, was arrested at 11:16 p.m. on Sept. 2, 2016, for possession of controlled/narcotic drugs. He was arrested on Lafayette Road.

Jake Posternak, 26, of Fleet Street in Portsmouth, was arrested at 12:40 a.m. on Sept. 3, 2016, for simple assault and disorderly conduct. Also arrested was Jared N. Posternak, 21, of Ice House Point Road in York, Me, for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest or detention, and simple assault. The men were arrested after police were sent to the report of a fight on Daniel Street. Kittery Police were sent by their side of the bridge. They were then arrested.

Brian R. Tash, 36, of Pine Wood Drive in Strafford, was arrested at 1:06 a.m. on Sept. 3, 2016, for driving after suspension. He was arrested on Lafayette Road.

Steven Marshall, 46, of White Cedar Boulevard in Portsmouth, was arrested at 1:25 a.m. on Sept. 3, 2016, for driving while intoxicated. Police arrested Marshall on Lafayette Road.

Jason Cieleszko, 18, of Henderson Way in Eliot, ME, was arrested at 2:10 p.m. on Sept. 1, 2016, for armed robbery and attempt to commit. He was arrested in Maine.

A juvenile male was arrested at 6:27 p.m. on Aug. 31, 2016, for criminal mischief after police were sent to Ash Street for a report of a boy that was “out of control” and smashed a mirror. He was arrested later.

Michael J. Germain, 55, a homeless man now located in Portsmouth, was arrested at 2:51 p.m. on Aug. 29, 2016, for violation of probation or parole. He was arrested on Rock Street.
