Raymond Man Arrested On DWI Charges After Crash: Portsmouth Police Log

A woman reportedly screams, "He is trying to kill me" on Portwalk Place. Men were busted in city parks on drug, criminal trespass charges.

PORTSMOUTH, NH — Daniel W. Russell, 51, of an unknown address in Portsmouth, was arrested at 10:50 p.m. on June 17, 2017, for criminal trespass. He was arrested after an alleged incident on the sidewalk by the park on Islington Street. Russell was held at the Rockingham County Jail.

Daniel J. Williams, 56, of an unknown address in Portsmouth, was arrested at 7:36 p.m. on June 17, 2017, for criminal trespass and possession of alcohol. He was arrested on Granite Street near a park.

Police were sent to Suzanne Drive for a report of an overdose at 7:26 p.m. on June 17, 2017.

Joshua T. Twombly, 30, of Wind Song Avenue in Manchester, was arrested at 11:54 p.m. on June 16, 2017, for disorderly conduct and possession of controlled/narcotic drugs. Police were sent Market Street for a report of a disorderly guest. After they arrived, the man was arrested.

Tyler A. Welch, 20, of Bartlett Street in Portsmouth, was arrested at 8:47 p.m. on June 16, 2017, for possession of a controlled/narcotic drug with intent to distribute, possession of controlled drugs, and criminal trespass. Also arrested was Shakrallah Jabre, 20, of Leavitt Avenue in Portsmouth, for possession of a controlled/narcotic drug with intent to distribute and possession of controlled drugs. Police were sent to Gosling Road for a security report about two men with backpacks and a woman with a headband with cat ears possibly using drugs on a playground. As police arrived, the woman reportedly ran from police but they caught up with her later and released her to her mother. The two males were arrested.

Samuel Seiken, 20, of Portwalk Place in Portsmouth, was arrested at 8:23 p.m. on June 16, 2017, on two counts of second-degree assault-domestic violence, criminal restraint, and two counts of domestic violence-simple assault. Police were sent to Portwalk Place for a report of a woman and man involved in a domestic with the woman bleeding from her hands. Dispatch reportedly heard the woman scream, “He is trying to kill me.” Another neighbor also reported seeing a man in a wheelchair “yelling and upset,” reportedly stating that he “didn’t mean to hurt her,” according to the report. No weapons were found but EMTs were sent to the scene and the man was arrested.

Jason L. States, 25, of 11th Street in Oakland, CA, was arrested at 7:01 p.m. on June 16, 2017, for possession of controlled/narcotic drugs and disorderly conduct. Police were sent to Lafayette Road for a report of a person in booth, with an open container, yelling obscenities on his cellphone, who had been there for “some time now.” After investigating the matter, the man was arrested and taken into protective custody due to alleged alcohol consumption.

Michael J. Klingensmith, 54, of State Road 27 in Raymond, was arrested at 11:53 a.m. on June 16, 2017, for aggravated driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated, and conduct after an accident. He was arrested after allegedly hitting a parked vehicle in the emergency room parking lot on Borthwick Avenue.
