Londonderry Woman Faces Knife Threat Charge: Superior Court Roundup

Plus: Teen indicted on indecent exposure charge; Salem theft indictments; Plaistow man accused of firing a gun while drinking.

BRENTWOOD, NH — A Rockingham County grand jury indicted the following people recently.

Jonathan Saiff, 51, of Beacon Street in Brookline, Massachusetts, on a felony insurance fraud charge. He was accused of defrauding GEICO between Nov. 17 and Nov. 21, 2022, in Raymond but submitting false or misleading information.

Carmen Ivelisse Sanchez, 39, of Railroad Street in Andover, MA, on two theft by unauthorized taking and two attempted theft by unauthorized taking charges, all felonies. She was accused of attempting to steal items from Target in Salem on July 17, 2022, and Home Depot in Salem on July 26, 2022.

Shawna Sands, 46, of Oakridge Drive in Londonderry on a felony criminal threatening-deadly weapon-domestic violence charge. She was accused of chasing after a man with a knife in her hand on April 2 in Londonderry.

Danielle M. Scrima, 48, of Loudon Road in Concord on a felony theft by deception charge. She was accused of obtaining, under false pretense, $299.96 from Pets Plus in Londonderry on Oct. 25, 2018, after being convicted twice before of theft.

James Shankle, 50, of Chester Road in Candia on a felony falsifying physical evidence charge. He was accused of concealing or altering evidence of impairment in his blood by refusing to comply with a search warrant in Candia between Sept. 12 and Sept. 13, 2021. James Arthur Silva Sr., 66, of East Road in Plaistow on a felony theft by unauthorized taking charge. He was accused of obtaining control of a Ford F-350 on March 26 at Quality Autos in Brentwood by loading it onto a flatbed tow truck and driving it away.

Louis Sousa, 19, of Sunset Drive in Londonderry on a felony indecent exposure and lewdness charge. He was accused of transmitting a photo of his exposed genitals between Sept. 10 and Sept. 18, 2022, to a 14-year-old.

Timothy Southwick, 33, of Shirley Avenue in Raymond on a felony felon in possession of a firearm charge. He was accused of possessing a Hi-Point semi-automatic pistol in Raymond on Oct. 19, 2022. Southwick is a felon due to a burglary conviction in Rockingham County Superior Court in June 2008.

Nathaniel William Standish, 24, of Main Street in Somersworth on a felony felon in possession of a dangerous weapon. He was accused of possessing a firearm in Epping between May 6 and May 7. Standish was convicted of second-degree assault in August 2018 in Strafford County Superior Court.

Nicholas Alexander Starkey, 35, of Conifer Place in Dover on forgery and attempted theft by deception charges, both felonies. He was accused of writing a check for $2,957.10 on the account of Bud and Jan Lefebvre’s Auto Repair in Windham on March 9 and attempting to cash it.

Melissa Sue St. Hilaire, 42, of Sylvan Drive in Dover on a felony habitual offender charge. She was accused of driving on Route 4 in Northwood on Nov. 7, 2022, after being deemed a habitual offender by the NH DMV.

Matthew Arthur Taylor, 43, of Walton Road in Plaistow on a felony reckless conduct-deadly weapon charge. He was accused of firing a gun after consuming alcohol on March 17.

Derek James Thompson, 37, of Chickering Road in North Andover, MA, on two felony theft by unauthorized taking charges. He was accused of stealing items from Macy’s and Zumiez in Salem on April 17. Twice before, Thompson was convicted on theft charges.
