Man Indicted On Derry Assault, Domestic Violence, Other Charges: Superior Court Roundup

Plus: Indiana man indicted on arson, infernal machine charges; Salem man accused of attempted burglary; NY man indicted on theft charge.

BRENTWOOD, NH — A Rockingham County grand jury indicted the following people recently.

Seth Daniels Burns, 22, of Wilson Street in Manchester on tampering with witnesses and informants, second-degree assault-domestic violence, and two first-degree assault-domestic violence charges, all felonies, as well as six domestic violence and three extended term of imprisonment simple assault charges. He cut an intimate partner on her ear and forearms, fractured her nose, struck her in the head, face, and arm, attempted to get her to blame a neighbor for her injuries, and spat on two Derry police officers on April 13, according to the indictments.

Scott Robert Byrnes, 54, of Spring Street in Newmarket on a felony possession of crack cocaine and driving under the influence charge on Portsmouth Avenue in Stratham on Feb. 26.

Brian Allen Carneau, 32, of Lowell Road in Salem on a felony attempted burglary charge. He was accused of attempting to enter another person’s residence in Derry on Dec. 18, 2023.

Vito Antonio Cascio, 43, of West 2nd Street in Brooklyn, New York, on a felony accomplice theft by unauthorized taking charge. While acting in concert with Konstantinos Kalos and-or Maria Kalos to steal security cameras and thermostats from Best Buy in Newington on March 24, 2019.

Christopher Robert Clough, 36, of Hanover Street in Portsmouth on a felony possession of fentanyl charge and driving under the influence in the Ocean State Job Lots parking lot in Portsmouth on Oct. 23, 2023.

Damion M. Comeau, 26, of Central Avenue in Rochester on a felony possession of crack cocaine charge on June 13, 2023, in Brentwood.

Denise Ann Connerty, 50, of Gage Street in Methuen, Massachusetts, on a felony possession of alprazolam charge in Salem on Nov. 30, 2023.

Austen M. Cooper, 27, of North Jackson Street in Huntingburg, Indiana, on two possession of infernal machine and three arson-real estate charges, all felonies. He was accused of setting fire to the Welch Baseball Field on Fremont Road in Raymond on July 30, 2022, the Folsom Conservation Area in Epping on May 9, 2022, and the Rockingham Recreational Trail in Raymond on April 23, 2023.

Nicholas Ryan McKinnon, 27, of Carpenter Lane in Salem on a felony theft by unauthorized taking and reckless operation, driving after revocation or suspension-subsequent, and disobeying an officer charges. He possessed a stolen 2017 Nissan Quest and driving on Kelly Road and South Policy Street recklessly by driving through red lights, crossing over a double yellow line, and on the wrong side of the road, and failed to stop for police on Feb. 21, according to the indictments. McKinnon was previously convicted of operating after revocation or suspension in August 2018.

Dylan Patrick McShera, 30, of Piscataqua Road in Dover on a felony possession of buprenorphine charge on July 23, 2020, in Newington.

Frank Dana Merrell, 41, of Central Street in Manchester on a felony receiving stolen property. He acted in concert with Philip Pergola to retain more than $1,500 in stolen merchandise from Home Depot in Seabrook on Dec. 6, 2023, according to the indictment.

Patrick Lawrence O’Brien, 57, of Jeffrey Drive in Hampton on two indecent exposure and two certain uses of computer services prohibited charges, all felonies. He shared two pictures of his genitals to a person he thought was a child under 16 on May 10, 2023, in Hampton, attempted to lure the person he thought was a child by saying, “Can I see you in the shower?” and when they declined, said, “That’s not fair. I showed you my pictures,” and offered oral sex to the person he thought was under 16, saying, he would teach him or words to that effect, according to the indictments.
