Mass. Man Allegedly Strangles Pregnant Girlfriend: Log
Salem Police: Teen arrested for stolen property, vandalism and Derry man arrested for robbery.

SALEM, NH - Armani J. Ross, 18, of Golf Road in Methuen, MA, was arrested at 12:21 p.m. on Dec. 14, 2015, for receiving stolen property (less than $1,000), theft by unauthorized taking (less than $1,000), and criminal mischief. Also arrested was a 15-year-old juvenile for arrested for receiving stolen property (less than $1,000), theft by unauthorized taking (less than $1,000), and criminal mischief. A tipster reported that there were two men breaking into a vehicle on Cluff Crossing Road. Officers found the subjects and arrested them. The juvenile was released to a parent.

Martin A. Taveras, 26, of Jackson Street in Lawrence, MA, was arrested at 5:04 p.m. on Dec. 14, 2015, for resisting arrest or detention and willful concealment. He was arrested at Lowes on South Broadway after allegedly being caught shoplifting. Salem Fire and Rescue teams were sent to the scene after Taveras was reportedly injured by a laceration to the face.

Patricia A. Messina, 25, of Webb Street in Salem, was arrested at 11:24 p.m. on Dec. 14, 2015, on a bench warrant and protective custody. Police were called to Home Depot on South Broadway for a report of a woman found behind a loading dock door who was sobbing. Messina had an active warrant and was held on $2,000 cash bail.
Michael A. Levesque, 31, of Independence Avenue in Tewksbury, MA, was arrested at 12:24 a.m. on Dec. 15, 2015, for second-degree assault, domestic violence-simple assault, and witness tampering. Police were called to Holy Family to speak to a pregnant woman who was strangled and assaulted, allegedly by her boyfriend. They interviewed the woman and then, went to Main Street to arrest Levesque. He was held on $1,000 cash bail.

Henry S. Shuman, 39, of Hampshire Street in Salem, was arrested at 2:43 a.m. on Dec. 15, 2015, on 12 counts of theft by unauthorized taking (less than $1,000). Police were sent to the Westgate Apartments for a report of a man breaking into vehicles in the parking lot, found Shuman, and arrested him.
Samuel Day, 22, of Sawyer Avenue in Atkinson, was arrested at 12:10 p.m. on Dec. 15, 2015, for willful concealment. He turned himself in on a warrant.
Andrew O’Brien, 35, of Seabee Street in Bedford, was arrested at 3:57 p.m. on Dec. 15, 2015, for receiving stolen property (under $1,000) and theft detective remover. Also arrested was David MacNeil, 31, of Heartwood Lane in Penacook, who was charged with receiving stolen property (under $1,000) and possession of controlled drug (heroin/crack, less than 1 gram). Police were sent Bed Bath and Beyond on South Broadway for a theft call. O’Brien and MacNeil were arrested. MacNeil was released on a summons.
James Driscoll, 39, of Rebecca Lane in Derry, was arrested at 5:49 p.m. on Dec. 15, 2015, was arrested for robbery. Police were sent to Sears on Rockingham Park Boulevard for a shoplifter who tried to run from a loss prevention employee. The man – Driscoll – allegedly tried to steal a DeWalt drill set. He was held on $2,500 cash bail.
At 10:13 p.m. on Dec. 15, 2015, police were sent to Grove Avenue for a report of an overdose. The teen was taken to Parkland Medical Center.
