East Brunswick Police Continue Investigation Into Fatal Crash
The crash claimed the life of a 22-year-old Spotswood EMT.

East Brunswick police are continuing their investigation into a crash that killed a Spotswood EMT, and they asking anyone with information about it to call them.
According to a news release from East Brunswick police Lt. Kevin F Zebro:
Just before 8 a.m. Saturday, East Brunswick officers were called to the crash at the intersection of Cranbury Road and Ryders Lane.

Mark C. Seube, 24, of Hamilton, had been driving a Spotswood ambulance on Ryders Lane near Cranbury Road, and another EMT, Hinal Patel, 22, of Piscataway, was in the front seat passenger.
They had been heading west on Ryders Lane to help the East Brunswick Rescue at the scene of another a motor vehicle crash with injuries in East Brunswick.

The initial investigation revealed the ambulance, a 2008 Ford van, had its emergency lights and sirens activated, and as it proceeded through the intersection, it was hit by a 2013 Toyota Prius. That Prius was headed south on Cranbury Road and was driven by Kathleen Meade, 58, of East Brunswick.
The ambulance overturned and slid into a 2011 Subaru Legacy that was stopped in the eastbound lane of Ryders Lane. Kristen Fahrman 43, of East Brunswick was behind the wheel of that car.
Patel was killed in the collision.
Assisting at the scene were: East Brunswick Fire Department District 2, Milltown EMS, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Basic Life Support as well as the Advanced Life Support Units.
