The Community Chest will honor Joe Klyde, Devry Pazant and the Alfiero and Lucia Palestroni Foundation at its spring celebration on May 5.
The Community Chest, a nonprofit organization servicing Englewood, Englewood Cliffs and Tenafly, celebrates spring at its annual spring fundraising event on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. The celebration will be held at the Knickerbocker Country Club, located at 188 Knickerbocker Road, in Tenafly, New Jersey. The event's net proceeds will go to The Community Chest to meet the pressing issues of people in need in these communities.
Coming Together
Each year, this annual event welcomes The Community Chest's friends and supporters to an evening of fun and philanthropy. With the theme, “Coming Together as a Community”, the evening is designed to fulfill the mission of the organization’s founders more than 80 years ago. Their vision was to fill a chest with individuals and businesses' generous contributions and to empty its contents by awarding grant funds to support worthy projects led by local nonprofits in Englewood, Tenafly and Englewood Cliffs. Each year, The Community Chest carries out this mission with increased generosity to help people in need in these communities.
