Fair Lawn Man Charged With Drug Possession
The man was arrested during a traffic stop, police said.

FAIR LAWN, N.J. — A borough man was arrested during a traffic stop this week after police said they found marijuana in his possession.
Officer John Rovetto stopped the car Gregory Elliott, 25, was driving and Tuesday afternoon and arrested him after marijuana was found inside the vehicle, said Sgt. Brian Metzler. Elliott was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and having tinted windows on a vehicle, police said.
In a separate stop, an 18-year-old man was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after police found marijuana in a car he was passenger in, police said. Editor's note: The charge against this man was dismissed after he pleaded guilty to a breach of peace violation.
