Man With False Prescription Tries To Run Out Of CVS: Police
Deion Daney, 20, gave officers a fake name and had several warrants out for his arrest, police said.

FAIR LAWN, N.J. — Police caught a man who tried filling a false prescription at CVS on Fair Lawn Avenue running out of the store Nov. 20, authorities said.
Three police officers responded to the store shortly after 5 p.m. on a report of a false prescription received at the pharmacy, said Sgt. Brian Metzler.
Deion Daney, 20, of New York, New York, was captured as he tried running out of the front of the store, Metzler said.

Daney gave police a fake name and drugs were reportedly found inside a vehicle that belonged to him, the sergeant said.
Daney had warrants out for his arrest from the Palisades Interstate Parkway Police Department and out of Fort Lee and Rockland County, New York, police said.

Daney was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, fraudulently obtaining a controlled dangerous substance, hindering apprehension, forgery, and possession of stolen property, Metzler said.
Daney's bail was set at $15,000, with no 10 percent option, and he was sent to the Bergen County Jail, Metzler said.
