Men Accused Of Shoplifting $1,300 In Merchandise From Fair Lawn CVS
Jeffery Simpson and Darryl Adamson were arrested as they were exiting the store, police said.

FAIR LAWN, N.J. — Two Paterson men were charged with taking more than $1,300 in merchandise from CVS Friday afternoon, police said.
Four officers responded to CVS just after 4 p.m. on a report of a shoplifting in progress, said Sgt. Brian Metzler. Jeffery Simpson and Darryl Adamson, both 51, were arrested as they exited the store with $1,365 in unpaid merchandise, Metzler said.
Simpson was charged with shoplifting and was taken by Fair Lawn ambulance to Bergen Regional Medical Center due to an illness, police said.

Police found drugs on Adamson and charged him with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and shoplifting, police said. Adamson had warrants out for his arrest from Totowa, Paramus and Paterson. His bail was set at $500 and he was taken to the Bergen County Jail, Metzler said.
