Fair Lawn Police Use Narcan To Save Overdose Victim: Prosecutor
The man is the 162nd person law enforcement have administered the life-saving drug to this year in Bergen County, authorities said.

FAIR LAWN, N.J. — Police used Narcan to save a man who was overdosing in the borough recently.
It was the 162nd overdose victim Bergen County law enforcement saved this year using Narcan, a drug designed to reverse heroin and other opiate overdoses.

The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office released the information Monday afternoon as part of its #StopTheODs Twitter campaign. Posts include maps of where the most recent Narcan saves, or fatal overdose, have been and a running tally of such incidents.

There have been 73 heroin and opiate-related overdose deaths in Bergen County this year, the prosecutor's office said.
